Went down to Topsail Beach last night to try and get some sunset shots. The sky didn't turn out quite as nice as I had hoped but I got a couple nice ones. Shot these with my new 18-300mm Nikon lens (convenient!).
This one I tried something different with the editing. I saw a photoshop video about using photoshop HDR merge plus using a 32bit TIFF and then editing in camera raw. Supposed to give you more range to work with. Anyways I think it turned out alright (especially considering what I was working with).

Tonight's sunset was pretty special, one of the best I have seen in a while. Sunset on a pond in Boulder Colorado.
While on holiday in Bali we were talked into doing the seafood sunset on the beach at Jimbaran bay. The food was shocking and not good value for the $$, but the sunset made the trip worth while :-)
Dropped by the San Andres port to shoot the sunset, was on my way home...I nearly had not arrived with the light still on the horizon. This light has disappeared in few minutes, could have found a better vantage point..
Not sure about this...went out to catch the nice light of the sunset over some nearby fields last night, but had to park in the field entrance (and had my daughter with me who was cold) so didn't bother with tripods and filters. Shot in RAW so I managed to salvage some detail.
