Sunset
Looking toward Mount Scio. Went out for a bike ride, took the venerable G12 since it fits into a compact fanny pack, caught the setting sun from the field near Bishops High School.

Even if it seems that it will rain, we still pushed through with going to Minato Mirai. We were rewarded with this wonderful sunset.
Last night's sunset was strong; its afterglow continued for a very long time. We were on the opposite side of the causeway while waiting for the moonrise.

USA Roadtrip 2016
The deserts of Arizona & Utah were the centrepieces of the trip - we spent 8 days seeing as much of them as Garys This'n'That could show us...
After a tripod session at Window Arch to capture the sunset, this was a hand-held shot on the way back to the car

Thanks to Mike Ktori for sending us this stunning picture taken on Saturday over Pumicestone Passage, between Bribie Island and the Queensland mainland.
With a little help from Lightroom every sunset can be as dramatic as you wish, especially when it´s cloudy.
Here's another view of October 20th's sunset. This was taken at a different time. The clouds are different now.
You can see the Empire State Building and Chrysler Building in Manhattan, some buildings in Astoria, and the Ravenswood Chimneys in Long Island City.
If you look very closely, you'll see a bit of the Queensboro Bridge peeping through, too.
I've got some trouble with my Internet connection speed, so I'm not uploading much or looking at photos. Sometimes the speed is good, though. I check things then. I'll exchange my modem on Monday and hope for the best.
