I was waiting for the sunset alone and I could have a few beautiful shots.I love this place very much and whenever I visit Vancouver,I come back here.

HBM everyone! Hope you had a great day! We did our annual picnic, and had such a lovely evening. This is what we saw as the sun set.
Question: If I straightened the horizon, the foreground would have been on an angle. I thought the foreground was the strong element and should be straight. Opinions??
Out Wednesday night for the sunset at one of my favourite locations in the Peaks with a few photographers from the High Peak Photographic Society (and few thousand midges!!!), we arrived at Carhead Rocks with the sun sitting behind a solid bank of thick cloud but the area around the horizon was fairly clear so it looked promising for the sunset.
Luckily it all worked out fairly well and the sun finally pushed through the gap giving us a nice bit of warm light over the landscape for a few minutes to finish the day.(0.4sec f6.3 @ 12mm 0.9 + 0.6 reverse ND grad filters)
I shot this on my way home from California. I'm glad that I decided to stop and shoot when I was almost home. The clouds looked promising that evening.
A sunset shot from Kalbarri. The weather during our trip has not been kind and it was not looking good tonight as there were no clouds but perseverance paid off.

Vevey es una de las "perlas de la Riviera de Suiza". Su ubicación directamente en el lago y con vistas hermosas al panorama alpino, su clima muy suave, los viñedos, los numerosos destinos de excursiones de la región, asà como los impresionantes Vapores de ruedas en el lago, caracterizan a esta bella ciudad a orillas del Lago de Ginebra.
Aquà se encuentra situada la sede de la multinacional Nestlé, justo a orillas del Lago Lemán. Es la empresa nutricional más importante del mundo y la compañÃa más grande en Suiza, aunque más del 97% de los empleados trabajan fuera del Pais.
(Nestlé, donde por cierto, tuve el honor de trabajar hace algunos años como Azafata de Relaciones Públicas... guardo muy buenos y agradables recuerdos)

Vevey is one of the "pearls of the Swiss Riviera." Its location directly on the Lemán lake with beautiful views of the alpine landscape, its mild climate, the vineyards, the many hiking destinations in the region, as well as impressive Steams of wheels on the lake characterize this beautiful city on the lake Geneva.
Here is located the headquarters of the multinational Nestlé, located on the shores of Lake Geneva. It is the largest nutrition company in the world and the largest company in Switzerland, although more than 97% of employees working abroad.
(Nestlé, where by the way, I had the honor of working for some years as Stewardess of Public Relations... I have good and pleasant memories)
If you were out and about on Friday evening in SE Michigan, then you saw what could have been the most spectacular sunset of the year, in my opinion.
As the sun went down, the more dramatic and beautiful color changes there were in the sky and clouds.
I happened to be on Belle Isle at the time and people were pulling over left and right to take pictures! What an amazingly beautiful night it was! The sun seemed to be taking it's time going down, too.... as if it were showing off, lol. ^_^
This photo here is from early on, though I did capture the night sky light show as the night progressed. =)
