The Project: The Camaro will be receiving our DSE Hydroformed Subframe, QUADRALink™, 4 point DSE Roll Cage, Mini Tub Kit and Subframe Connectors. The car will also be receiving Baer Brakes, a DSE Super Tank 1000 Series, C&R Radiator, DSE SS Headers and a full custom 3” exhaust system.

Right side view of Engine fitted to subframe, exhausts dry fit. Most of this kit is going ok, though its quality control regarding decal placement and colour notation leave a little to be desired. Decals being called out numerous times and being wrongly numbered or missed out? The worst area being the rear deck/exhaust cover. The colours used were most of the silvers and blacks available from Tamiya, Games Workshop and Humbrol. New uk shipping laws now make it very expensive to buy a pot of (flammable) paint so the ultimate finish cannot yet be justified as the zero paints system used on the body panels only recently arrived.

The subframe is now complete and ready for black top coat.
Before we start painting, we will turn the frame upside down to make sure the whole underside is covered. This is what you will see when it is tipped up.
This is one of the rare occasions when the underside needs to be better than the top!
