Part of today's lunch that I made. The green bell peppers are stuffed with boiled then fried potatoes with shredded cheddar cheese and seasoning. Topped off with a drizzle of melted butter and a light thousand island sauce.

Our pasta shells are generously stuffed with an Italian cheese blend, covered with marinara sauce and a touch of Alfredo sauce, then drizzled with basil pesto. Made without any meat. This contains Morning Star Crumbles, 1 cup of rice, a handful of cheese, sage, oregano, salt, pepper, celery, 3 cloves garlic minced, and one half an onion. Topped with tomato sauce and a sprinkle of cheese. Garnished with a celery and carrot stick salad to eat with your hands on the side.

One of three images--New Year's Eve, 2024, I pampered myself with festive foodstuffs for a quiet evening at home watching seasonal movies. I started with shrimp cocktail, proceeded to steamed artichoke & stuffed mushrooms & made it a bit healthier with Caesar Salad! Dessert was a cherry turnover & a few chunks of fresh pineapple! Delicious! I watched "When Harry Met Sally" & New Year's Eve." Not at all a bad evening for one who lives alone! Wishing you all a Happy New Year, 2025!

I have too much 'stuff'.

All the pictures in my house are originals, either mine or other peoples. The orchid pic is a handcoloured black and white print, from when I belonged to the camera club.

The big picture was done with the right side of my brain, that is, not thinking about it at all.

It has a partner, as yet unfinished, done in a more focused way.

The masks are plaster, 1930's, and the owl was carved from lime by a colleague at school.

It is my vague intention to die in a house empty of clutter, but as you can see I have quite some way to go!

Some of the remaining filling from the stuffed tofu was used in this dish. These pieces of bell peppers were lightly fried in oil and then steamed for 15 minutes. The taste was a little plain for me without gravy, but the rest of the family liked them.

This is stuff for all of the kids.
