This photo I took of my friend Stuart is featured on The Morning News today, for a feature called "People We Like." (miniature interview there, too).

Stuart and I met in a youth hostel in London in 1997. We loosely kept in touch over email, ended up moving to New York the very same day in 2002, and after that became good friends. Stuart now lives in Israel.

This is a small section of Stuart Wade's illustration in the blank book.

Stuart writes:

"Historic Downtown West Chester is almost entirely constructed of bricks. The trees in downtown West Chester are doing their best to change that."

Stuart accepts the first place trophy from Doug Moore, tournament manager

British Motocross Championship, Desertmartin, Northern Ireland.

The red spine is Harlem Place (which runs between 3rd Street and 9th Street) which, in Stuart Patterson's design, is a vibrant pedestrian greenspace. Cool!
