Florida's first GREEN music school, The Stuart School of Music, in Stuart, Florida celebrates its one year anniversary of going green this week. 11,760 pounds of CO2 have been offset so far by the school's green renovation which includes a thinfilm photovoltaic solar system laminated on the roof that is rated for 140 mph winds, a touch screen monitor with real time and online electric production monitoring and environmental offsets information provided by the system, low-E windows, increased insulation, LED lighting, low flow plumbing, and non VOC paints.

Stuart, Florida -- 9/9/07 -- Damian Thomas of Naples, center, leads the pack early in the race during the finale race of the three-part Toyota of Stuart Cycling Classic in downtown Stuart on Sunday, Sept. 9, 2007. Thomas finished in 14th place. Hector Hernandez, right of Thomas, finished the race in second place.

NT Roadtrip - This was a common view for much of the trip, although the roadside scenery does change a bit. Now wish I'd stopped a few more times to capture the different surroundings. Great road to set the cruise control to 155kph and cruise for a couple of hours. Spent many days on bushwalks and sightseeing, and still covered 7,500 kilometres in 12 days.
