Four Strong Winds
Neil Young
Four strong winds that blow lonely
Seven seas that run high
All those things that don't change, come what may
But our good times are all gone
And I'm bound for moving on
I'll look for you if I'm ever back this way
If I get there before the snow flies
And if things are goin' good
You could meet me if I sent you down the fare
But by then it would be winter
There ain't too much for you to do
And those winds sure can blow cold way out there
Four strong winds that blow lonely
Seven seas that run high
All those things that don't change, come what may
But our good times are all gone
And I'm bound for moving on
I'll look for you if I'm ever back this way
Went over to one of my favourite spots this morning, Waverton, which has an awesome lookout over the city.
Four girls turned up for a sunrise picnic, and after asking their permission, I included them in my shot.
Hope you like “Four Strong Winds”
Cheers, Mike

I woke up this morning early.. 4am and was out the door pretty early. This image was made around 6:30 am. When I woke I was in a great deal of pain. I got out of bed and made it had a coffee and off I went in pain. I wont sit around doing nothing and be in pain.
In the book of Mark Jesus used a Parable about a strong man. My body has that Strong man in it. My heart is where Jesus resides. No matter what the Devil throws my way he will never be able to take what is inside. He will never be able to tie that man up!

Have a nice day
The Wind Was Blowing Strong That Day
It swept across the sands,
Stinging any open skin on hikers alike
No definitive lines across the dunes
As I walked on a hazy outline made from others
All inhaled the sands in the air,
Perhaps with even a cough in these pandemic times
Oh, those views up high
Mountains as far as I could see
So this is High Dune; what a wonder it truly is!
Another work of short poetry or prose to complement the image captured one morning in Great Sand Dunes National Park while on a hike down from High Dune. This was a view looking to the northeast while standing on a high point sand dune ridge where I had a vista-like view to the Sangre de Cristo Range off in the distance. I like how the sand dune ridges added a layered look to the image. I also liked how the more earth tones of the sand dunes were that complement and color contrast to the blues and greens present in the mountains and skies above.

Strong winds always make wonderful patterns in the saturated sand as the tide ebbs. Everything is pushed across the beach and constantly in motion. A photograph of it looks so tranquil, but these features show it is a wild day. The wanting comes in waves is by the Decemberists, and these small waves of sand are formed and driven across the beach.

I was never thinking that the seascape shooting can be so adventurous like this morning. I went with Michael to Shelly Beach-Manly to take some shots but I must have misunderstood his email. Seriously, when he told me that this was going to be an adventure, he was right!!
We decided that instead of walking for half an hour to our destination we would take the shortcut via a steep road down to the cliff in pitch black darkness (5.30 am). Well Michael had a flash light and I forgot mine at home, bottom line – we finally reached our destination with some additional scars, bruises and scratches on my legs and feet. I had slipped a couple of times and fell despite my Spiderman powers and my new wet shoes!!
We met Oat ( Hangingpixels) and few more photographers; good thing is to see how many people enjoy photography, sunrise and seascape shooting.

Love is stronger than death, even though it can't stop death from happening, but no matter how hard death tries, it can't separate people from love. It can't take away our memories either. In the end, life is stronger than death. ~ Anonymous

what a cute looking monkey! if i can only have him as a pet LOL! the monkey has something of on his ear...maybe a headset. haha.
lion tamarins make up the genus leontopithecus. they are small monkeys named for the mane surrounding their face. living in the eastern rainforests of Brazil, like all other callitrichines they are arboreal. lion tamarins weigh up to 900 grams (2 pounds) and are about 30 cm (12 inches) long, with tails about 45 cm (17 inches) long. they jump through trees using their fingers to hold onto branches and their claws to dig under the bark to search for insects to eat. they also eat some snakes, small lizards and small fruits.

It's ok. You certainly will fall down, scrape yourself, bleed for people.. its how you get up for yourself.
Believe in yourself.
Have hope for yourself.
Trust in yourself.
That matters.
A dusting of snow graces the Grand Teton at sunrise. The symbol of strength portrayed by great mountains is always an inspiration to me.
