De bien merveilleuses rencontres...
À mon arrivée il n'y avait que deux personnes qui avaient osé s'aventurer tout doucement les deux pieds et le trépied dans l'eau à proximité du galet central, là où un bon nombre de bécasseaux de plusieurs espèces fouillaient le sol, tantôt submergé par un filet d'eau, tantôt recouvert d'une fine couche d'algues en voie de s'assécher... Leur toute respectueuse présence, quant à moi, sonnait le go pour qu'à mon tour j'ose m'y présenter. Il en fut de même, par la suite, pour la dizaine d'autres photographes qui se contentaient jusqu'alors à capter les quelques Chevaliers fidèles qui scrutaient, quant à eux, le sol des galets situés aux abords du rivage...
Tout au long des deux heures qui ont suivis, d'autres photographes se sont joins à nous, et à part quelques déplacements temporaires, jamais les limicoles ont montré des signes de dérangements, pouvant perturber leur quête à la recherche de leur toute précieuse nourriture. Au contraire, ils se sont approchés de nous à plusieurs reprises de telle sorte que bon nombre d'appareils, au gros gabarit, se sont tus, incapable de procéder à la mise au point du sujet si rapproché... Au final, seul un faucon pèlerin, survolant en rase motte pendant une minute le secteur, aura chassé que quelques minutes seulement, la totalité des oiseaux se trouvant sur le galet...
J'aurai donc, dans ces quelques heures d'un après-midi de fin d'été parfait pour la photo, croisé un grand nombre de mes contacts et bon amis Flickr, de biens belles et chaleureuses rencontres. Parmi ces gens se trouvait un couple, dont j'attendais depuis bien longtemps l'occasion de les saluer, Rose-Ange et Jean... Enfin nos routes se sont croisées. Heureux moment...
Cette première série, de cette merveilleuse session, est davantage orientée sur la composition, ce qui m'aura permis de sublimer ce décor qui baignait dans une lumière parfaite plutôt que de mettre l'emphase sur ma recherche habituelle de la présentation d'un oiseau capté tout en proximité au plumage bien détaillé...

Well.....no-sense shot XD Inspired by Buffy's last episode of Season 6 "Grave"
...and from Dark Willow character *_*
Summary of the episode :
While Xander and Dawn whisk away Jonathan and Andrew for an unknown sanctuary, Anya and Buffy take on the evil Dark Willow at the Magic Box using Anya’s newly returned demon powers and Buffy’s Slayer abilities, until Giles suddenly appears in town and takes on and subdues Willow with some borrowed magics of his own. But Willow has a few tricks up her sleeve and gets Anya to help her escape.
At daybreak, the final conflict approaches; while Jonathan and Andrew take advantage of the chaos to slip away, Buffy finds herself fighting side-by-side with Dawn against underworld demons conjured by Willow to kill them. With Buffy otherwise occupied, Willow rallies her dark powers on the ruins of a Satanic temple to bring about the end of the world and every good person in it, once and for all.
Meanwhile, Spike’s African sojourn comes to a climax when he endures hours of physical and mental pain in his cave fighting demonic opponents and at the end gets his wish - a soul.

Its been a challenging week so far. Last week, while shooting seascapes, I slipped & fell on my shoulder, dislocating it. The pain has been unreal, & emotionally discouraging. But time will heal the sore spots, & build the strength to move on.

Macro Mondays theme "Fasteners"
This is a 1.5¨ U-bolt clamp with its saddle and nuts. It measures 2 3/8¨ in height. Many saddle variants exists. With the appropriate saddle installed it can be used on piping, with ropes, and in the automotive industry on the muffler system. Sometimes, having the right U-bolt clamp handy can save the day!
The background color comes from my Valentine’s day roses. Just a little feminine touch… 😉

At Little Bay this morning still feeling a bit crappy from a cold I ventured out in the rain with the Focus crew. The view at Little bay is amazing but i wasnt really in the mood for a headland seascape thing so turned around and shot this at the gold course behind me.

Je vous l'ai présenté la semaine dernière dans une pose où il s'étirait de belle façon cet adulte accompagnateur, le voici aujourd'hui, lors de la même session, dans une pose plus classique. Tellement gracieux, difficile de ne pas craquer... Lors de ma visite d'hier matin je l'ai retrouvé en pleine session de pêche, mais aucune trace du juvénile par contre...
