The pilot tender of the Belgian Pilotage Service "Pieter de Coninck" has brought the sea pilots aboard the two sea giants sailing in the background and is sailing back to the pilot harbour of the town of Flushing (Vlissingen)
The aluminimum hull is designed in such a way that operations can continue up to a wind force of 8 Beaufort at a wave height of 2,5 to 4 meters.
The ship is propelled by 2 jet foils and has a high course stablity and maneuverability so that the pilot can board the ship to be piloted in complete safety, without the ship having to slow down.
The cruising speed of this pilot tender is 28 knots ( 50 km per hour)
Four strong winds that blow lonely, seven seas that run high

Un Petit Chevalier aux aguets!
J'aurais bien aimé compléter mon approche. Il en manquait peu. Son comparse du moment aura sonné l'alerte. D'où cette belle pose où son regard fixe en direction de ce dernier. Je ne sais trop pourquoi d'ailleurs, à ce moment-là j'étais bien tranquille à tenter de le capter avec ma lentille qui frôlait alors la surface de l'eau. Nous avons rien remarqué de particulier. Eux oui! Toujours aux aguets ses petits limicoles.

Strong gate - weak fence! I don’t know what this gate is protecting because the road back into the property seems to be the “road less traveled.” I’ll tell you one thing, by the time one gets finished reading all the signs the dog will be upon you. Apparently, you can’t do anything on this property. Everything fun is forbidden - how boring to live there. They do make signs now that say ‘Trespassers will be Violated’. At least a sign like that is good for a laugh.
There are several ways into this secret property. You could just climb the gate or cut the wire on the fence. I don’t believe that there is a dog, but I’m not that curious to see what is back this overgrown road. If it is a pristine Jaguar in a barn, I will be kicking myself later. If there is indeed a dog, you would see him coming a long ways away and be back over the gate before he gets in attack mode. HFF

Questo è un omaggio all'ultima foto che ha postato il mio sole, è proprio colorata la nostra terra....
A cicli si fa arare, tra i solchi nasce l'ultimo grano, le sue foglie tenere sbucano dalla terra nuova di tanti colori e sono di un verde mai visto....
Intorno ci sono i colori dell'autunno, coi suoi alberi di giallo e rosso vestiti, completa l'opera il celeste inconsueto del cielo.....
La mia terra colorata.

Le retour d'Amandine au no 2
Lors de ma tournée des Petits-ducs maculés d'aujourd'hui, j'ai trouvé Amandine au no 2. Quel bonheur! Une toute première cet hiver de l'observer dans cette cavité, où pourtant nous la voyions régulièrement hiver après hiver depuis que nous la connaissons. Il faut dire que son arbre préféré pour ses nichées, où nous la retrouvions aussi régulièrement en hiver, est tombé lors des grands vents du 15 avril dernier. Mon ami Michel Paquin m'en avait avisé, le lendemain, et avait observé Amandine à ce même no 2 situé à proximité de l'arbre tombé. C'était la dernière mention d'Amandine à cette cavité. Grand plaisir donc de revoir dans ce trou, et en plus, en bonne forme, notre doyenne, maintenant âgée d'au moins 11 ans. Nous sommes en mesure de constater sur cette image que cet arbre perd de plus en plus son écorce. Voici une image de Victor, le premier mâle connu d'Amandine, installé aux abords de cette même cavité en février 2016, il y a maintenant 7 ans!!! Comme le temps passe vite...

The Monastery of Saint Naum (Macedonian: Манастир Свети Наум) is an Eastern Orthodox monastery in the Republic of Macedonia, named after the medieval Saint Naum from Ohrid, who founded it. in 905. It is situated along Lake Ohrid, 29 kilometres (18 mi) south of the city of Ohrid.
Sveti Naum is also buried here and you can hear his heartbeat, when you put your ear on the grave. (so they say)
