all of the barred owl shots were taken with a 300 zoom lens and no tripod. this owl lived day and night at our house for several weeks.
He turns his head this way and that ... occasionally crows, jays or chickadees fly over or land nearby yelling at her but to no avail.
Called Great Gray Owl in the United States.

This bird inhabits Kensington Gardens in London. I've been trying to see this bird for several years. I knew which tree it roosted and bred in but until now no luck. Even this day it disappeared and I didn't see it again all day.
Tawny owls are the most common and widespread of British owls. They emit the characteristic courtship ‘twit-twooo’ which is actually a duet between male and female.
