I was in Vegas for a convention (surprise surprise) and managed to get this shot after many shaky attempts from my hotel room in the lovely Mandalay Bay. I want to say I was on the 17th floor, but don't quote me on that.

Hint: Ask for a room facing The Strip when you check in! I picked that up off of a travel site on the web and certainly didn't regret it! (Got the last non-smoking room on this side of the hotel, thankyouverymuch.)

I've run into these women at a few Dallas Comic Cons and found them to be wonderfully delightful costumers, fun to talk to, and fun to take pictures of and with.

I used the little girl pattern print as my focus fabric and added coordinating prints for the rest of the strips.

I have been working on losing weight and am up to 53 pounds gone so far! That means a lot of changes in my wardrobe (like going from a 28 to a 22 in jeans!). So, when I saw this week's theme, I KNEW I wanted to use up these jeans and make me a cute skirt to wear with my new riding boots :)
