This is the second string quilt in a row. I'm not sure if it wil end up being lap sized or bigger, but I think I've got about a twin sized blanket worth of fabric to use up.

KG, VIVE SEMPRE CHIUSO IN GABBIA AL GATTILE, IN UNA STANZA SENZA LUCE.*
*Frollo è buonissimo, si affeziona alle cose, alle persone, sembra
non un gatto ma un cagnolino. Era sicuramente un gatto di casa e
adesso da 2 mesi è chiuso in una piccola gabbietta da cui non esce mai.*

Ecco Frollo, un magnifico gattone tigrato di circa 2 anni,
sterilizzato. Frollo è molto grande, è un magnifico gattone di
almeno 6 kg.
Ma la gabbietta in cui vive da 2 mesi è piccolissima, Frollo può a
malapena muoversi, e da lì non esce mai. La gabbietta è chiusa in
una stanza semibuia, in cui non entra il sole, da cui i gatti non
vedono fuori, è il gattile.
Frollo è comparso all’esterno di una ditta tempo fà, sicuramente
abbandonato perché seguiva le persone ed entrava in casa, lui
cercava un contatto umano. Chi lo ha trovato e raccolto lo teneva in
casa e diceva che era come un cagnolino. Ma non ha potuto tenerlo.
In gattile ha bisogno di attenzioni, ci chiama, vuole le coccole,
si affeziona alle sue poche cose, alle persone.
E’ un grande gattone di casa, affettuosissimo. Sicuramente viveva
in una casa, perché è troppo attaccato al suo unico cestino, alle
persone. Non cerca di andarsene, né di fuggire. Lui vorrebbe solo
starci vicino.
Un gatto dal carattere tranquillo, ecco com’è Frollo. E averlo in
casa con noi sarebbe una compagnia magnifica.
E’ sano, ma è risultato positivo alla Fiv. Ma un gatto con la Fiv
può vivere anche 15 anni senza ammalarsi mai, è solo più delicato,
non può vivere per strada, ma se sta in una casa, protetto, al
calduccio, non ci sono problemi.
Per esempio in gattile c’è stato un raffreddore terribile che hanno
preso tutti i gatti, ma lui non l’ha neanche preso. Perché è un
gattone sano e forte.
Inoltre la Fiv è davvero difficile da attaccare, si attacca solo con
morsi profondi a sangue, e lui è un gatto buonissimo e pacifico che
stringerebbe durevole amicizia con qualsiasi animale di qualsiasi
specie.
Molte persone hanno gatti fiv positivi che convivono con gatti
negativi, e questi ultimi non si sono mai positivizzati.
Frollo è un patatone, in gabbia soffre, è tristissimo, ma non si
lamenta. Coraggioso, affettuoso, ama il contatto con gli uomini, ma
in gattile è sempre chiuso in una piccola gabbietta, non vede più
nulla del mondo fuori, non il verde, neppure il sole. Ed è sempre solo.
E’ sterilizzato, spulciato, sverminato. Diamogli un po’ di amore.
Non ce ne pentiremo mai, lo avremo salvato da una vita terribile, e
questo gatto grande e meraviglioso renderà più bella anche la
nostra vita.
