Brand: Kelty
Model: Triptease Lightline
This string made by Kelty is made with a reflective band and works extremely well to make handle loops for all your gear. I'm placing this at the front of the list because you'll see the string tied to many things in this emergency kit.
If you drop your gear and lose it you can find it really fast by shinning a flashlight around, the string will shine like a mirror! I use it in as much of my gear as I can. Highly recommended.

Little K and I made these together one time a few years ago. Hard to believe they actually survived the move from VA to TX. They are, after all, just made out of string and flour.

Translating my drawings into a 3D model. The string acts as the canvas and I have tried to re create the shapes in the knitting using block lines. The 3 layers of string mirrors the layers in the photocopies.
