Well, technically it's a string duo plus flute, but these folks played some gorgeous music. Grace was really enthralled, and I couldn't stop watching the cellist. I really need to get my cello out....

The String Cheese Incident headlined the first night of the Forecastle Music Festival with a blistering set of jamgrass at Waterfront Park in Louisville, Ky.
Just added these fish to my stringer to get a pic. A couple of 3 lb Small Mouth bass and a nice Rainbow trout. The bass were released after the picture was taken and swam away to be caught another day. The trout unfortunately made his way to my dinner table.
RARE S7 STRING DANELECTRO MOD WITH 11 TONE VARATIONS "TONE A DELIC" BUILT IN. THIS GUITAR IS IN VERY GOOD SHAPE AND CREATES THE SOUND OF THE 60'S.
The Mod 7 has stacked Tone/Volume knobs and Danelectro's trademark Lipstick pickups in H-S-S configuration. Has 6 selections for these pickups: 1) Neck, 2) Neck/Middle, 3) Neck(/Bridge, 4) Middle, 5) Middle/Bridge, and 6) Bridge Humbucker.
There is also a switch to coil-split the bridge humbucker making 3 more tone selections and a "blow by switch" which bypasses the selector knob and all pots, and turns on all pickups at once. You get the full, natural power of all the pickups this way, unmodified by the pots. The pots typically filter out some of the highs, so you get the full raw power of your pickups. It is a clever mod, and came standard on this guitar.
This hard to come by Korean made guitar debut in the 90's, it is the same body style and electronics as the MOD6, also rare. This guitar is great for 60's rock, psychedelic, rockabilly, surf rock, bluegrass, and blues, Fender Telecaster meets Rickenbacker. The distinctive look, feel, and sound of this guitar is classic and retro, but also plays modern sounds well.

The Capitoline Museums complex (Musei Capitolini) in Rome has one of the finest collections of sculptures, statues, and archaeological finds from antiquity in the world, in addition to paintings and art from the Middle Ages to the Baroque. Top highlights are very rare large Roman bronze sculptures such as the original equestrian statue of Marcus Aurelius, Boy with a Thorn, and the Capitoline She-Wolf (and the much more recent Romulus and Remus). The paintings collection includes works by Caravaggio, Titian, Rubens, Van Dyck, and many other European masters. Although the museum is rarely overcrowded, buying tickets online saves time.

As part of a swap with Danielle, I sewed up a couple of blocks for one of her quilting bee quilts. It was so nice to use up some scraps. It's also nice to contribute to a quilt w/o having to baste, quilt, or bind it. Very little commitment!
