Ship Garðar BA is Icelands oldest steelship. It was built in 1912 and served for fisheries until 1981 when it's owner decided to strand it instead of sinking it. They dug a deep ditch and sailed into the beach during flood. It's a good stop and photo op while travelling in the Westfjords.
The sea washed it up on Praia do Faro before taking it back. Does anyone know the species of Jellyfish?

BNSF 7483 and 6278 have just arrived at Lamy, New Mexico, on the Glorieta Subdivision from Albuquerque to rescue a stalled work train on the Lamy siding, at right. The work train had been sent out of Albuquerque two days prior with a single unit. The train stalled on the Glorieta grade and backed into the Lamy siding. On September 22, BNSF sent up two light units with a yard crew to take the train to Las Vegas. In this late afternoon scene, the units are heading up to the ESS to back in on the stranded train. This pickup truck has been standing at the intersection around my house for ages, every time I would pass by there was this inherent urge of capturing it. After 3 years 8 months it did happen.. Had to lie prostrate on the road to capture this shot with a 50mm prime.

This was one of those situations where my 14mm was too wide and my 35mm was not wide enough. I took a few shots with both and decided to go with this version. 23mm probably would have been perfect. Maybe I can pick that prime up one of these days.
I'm not sure of the backstory of how this tugboat became stranded here, but it seems to be something of a local attraction now. I haven't seen it, but the movie Green Lantern is said to have used this location for a scene or two. I guess I will have to check it out.
My first attempt to shoot milky way this year. Thank god I got to see the Milky way right through my naked eye. It's so mesmerizing moment in my life. Feel free to comment. Thank you for your visit.

...in the night as she searched for her other. Nearly defeated ; yet not quite awake. Engulfed in the twilight she reached out with her heart and watched her future, her past drift away.
