in the middle of a river of light. I love this view west along Steeles at the edge of the city. Slightly cropped but otherwise pretty much SOOC.

They're trying to get a kind of inflatable stretcher under the whale.

There was not a shells to be seen on half a mile of beach except this one.

Taken on Ft Lauderdale Beach by iPhone. Another manowar at the shoreline. This was taken before sunrise.

It is interesting to see how many things are stranding on the shore daily. The sea gives a lot.

The Seli 1 stranded on Blaauwberg Beach

It holds on against the mistral but got damaged by the rocks.

Our Daily Challenge ... ground/grounded.

Logs which have floated downstream in river floods have been grounded on the sand close to the mouth. No doubt they will be swept away by the next flood and more will be stranded to replace them.

This poor girl apparently got stuck out in the middle of the lake in Giethoorn with her windsail, and all I could do was take a picture! Thinking back on it later, I realized we probably should have offered assistance, being that were were in a power boat! How considerate!
