A butterfly stranded on its back in still water, attempted to turn around by rhythmical motions of its wings thereby creating circular waves.
7 months after the tropical depression storm attack, one ship still remain at the seashore. Not able to move the ship from the place, the ship owner had removed the key parts inside the ship. leaving only the body staying there, could be for a long long time.
People passing the location would mostly stop to take picture, some even came on purpose to photograph (including myself). A once sad history eventually becomes people's memory, be it good or sad one. Nature keeps moving on, people may or may not...

Taken almost a year ago, I arrived at the causeway about 5am for the last safe crossing time, Stranded on Holy Island for Sunrise. This shot was taken while heading back to the car as the tide went out & I could once again cross the causeway! something I'll be doing again soon! but next time i'll keep good hold of my big stopper!

-18°C degrees, freezing wind, wet trouses...love it! It was quite difficult to shamble in deep snow to get this shot done. Toes went numb...again :)

Plane crashed, guess I'll just stay here then!
Sorry for the absence the last month or so, have been flat out along with getting back from second trip to France, heading Wales then off to Iceland from which I'm recently back!
Had an absolutely amazing trip with some old faces and new on a 7 day tour around the country. predominately a trip of landscape shooting but squeezed in a couple of abandonments, one of which being this abandoned DC3 plane on a desolate black sand cost.
A great experience of a lifetime had and a hell of a lot of images added to an already massive backlog! maybe I should quit the day job and start working on this!
Don't usually do selfie type shots but done a few on this trip, this one I grabbed shortly before finishing shooting the plane! : )

Inspired by the wonderful photography by Lawrence Cornell,(www.deviantart.com/law…) I have made this interpretation,
in black and white and color.
I have tried not to make a previous sketch, but to draw in ink from the first moment.
