catching air on her scooter. the eldest and the most well behaved. very introspective for a 6 year old.
Yeah, it's kinda hard to get to the gym and Arabic class AND take a decent SP. I'm hoping to get some more jumping shots in though before June is over!
a panoramic shot of the east and west walls of the marbeled courtyard, cut in half to keep your eyes from twisting. left side looks into the chapel
The Abbey was closed but the grounds were open. I recognised an Aston Villa scarf on one of the staff.....congratulated him on their form so far this season - as ye do - and he gave us a private tour.
He may also have thought that I was close to death, at the time - which I was - either way, we got in....
I have fallen in love with this project. I have met the greatest people through doing it, and it's so fun doing something completely out of my comfort zone and completely different to my usual style of photography..
taken through the glass window/wall/roof of our rec centre's pool

Ceiling of St John's Cathedral, Brisbane. This is one of the very few fully stone vaulted cathedral ceilings in the world. North-west end and entrance is to the left; south-east end and altar is to the right.
HDR from 4 exposures, with fisheye lens.
An A+ Setup from Ft. Smith opened up for the 5th KXUA Birthday Bash at The Gypsy in Fayetteville, April 7, '06. An A+ Setup have been described as a cross between The Pixies and Devo. To me, they were straightup, fun, retro New Wave. The singer sounds a bit like Ian McCulloch of Echo and the Bunnymen. (Check out the singer's Britney Spears t-shirt!)
Feeling tired and uninspired. It rained all day long and basically I just sat on the sofa, knit and watched TV.
This guy was lovely although he looked like a drug dealer. He also looked like Lil Wayne, so he has now been nicknamed The Newport Weezy. I love this project, I have met some really interesting and exciting people and have ended up getting some great shots out of it. I've also been so surprised by how willing people are to be photographed by them. :)
This shot will be submitted as my "Authentic" street image alongside my manufactured and research shot. Authentic means that this person is a complete stranger I approached in the street to photograph. These 3 images will be submitted on the 29th for my first ever Uni project. eeeeeeek. :S I'll post a picture of all 3 together shortly!!
