Not sure what this storefront was last...the clothes displays seen on the right were from a still-open store here (Rainbow). Lincoln liked to "dress up" vacant spaces with merchandise available elsewhere in the mall. Since the facade looked to have a few years on it, I tried to give this shot a bit of a vintage vibe.
Downtown Pocahontas, Virginia. These storefronts have really cool detail, but the buildings are falling down.
Parts of the Disney movie "Flipped", to be released in 2010, are being filmed in my hometown of Manchester, Michigan. Rob Reiner is the director.
This was McElliot's Ice Cream Parlor where some of the filming took place on July 27, 2009. Everything you need to make an ice cream parlor and candy store complete. I drove by here again two days later and this store front was emptied out, ready to resume its former life.
