"Husband-wife chroniclers of New York City storefronts, James & Karla Murray, have begun construction on the new outdoor exhibit for Seward Park that pays homage to disappearing mom-and-pop shops."
22 February 2011 - James & Karla Murray, with their dog Tobasco, show their photographs of store fronts in NYC and surrounding boroughs at Clic Bookstore & Gallery located at 255 Centre Street in Manhattan, NY. The show is titled 'Store Front II.' (Michael Kirby Smith)

We moved into our storefront at 3404 N. Figueroa St. in May of 2012. I took until October of 2014 to get this sign made and electrified. There is a huge tree that blocks it, so it was always more of a symbolic gesture to have a nice sign up above the storefront doors.
The vinyl work was done by James Cerasani. The electrical work and installation was done by Somerset Waters of the Pacific Electric Worker-Owned Co-op.

These storefronts are located at Lee Highway and North Monroe Street. On the left is the "Philippine Oriental Market." On the right is a rod and reel repair shop.

This interesting block with surviving period storefronts is located near the borough hall in Downtown Sewickley, PA. The vacancy seems somewhat unusual for that area.
I put the brick wall backdrop further down to hide the victorian barbies, and the boutique faux storefront and cafe front.

To view in stereo, sit 2-3 feet from the monitor and gently cross your eyes so that the two images become three. The one in the middle will be in 3d. If you are finding this difficult, you may be trying too hard. Viewing the original size is best.
Remembering Led Zeppole on East 14th Street which was opened in 2009 by the guys from Artichoke Pizza 🍕(at the time their pizzeria was located next door) and specialized in the Italian fried dough ball dessert doused with powdered sugar. The Artichoke team interestingly chose the name playfully as nearby in the East Village, the twin dumbbell tenement buildings spanning 96-98 St. Mark’s Place appear on the vinyl album cover for the famous Led Zeppelin album “Physical Graffiti” (swipe left for 2nd photo). The outer sleeve of the Zeppelin album released on February 24, 1975 was designed by Peter Corriston with die cut windows on the building revealing the letters spelling out the album name “PHYSICAL GRAFFITI”. Peter specifically chose these buildings because they were symmetrical with interesting details and would fit the square album cover with a floor of the buildings removed to fit the square criteria. Although Led Zeppole closed in 2012, you can still visit the tenement buildings on St Mark’s Place and get a slice of pizza at Artichoke which moved across to the north side of 14th street.
