A walk through the city revealed this interesting and colorful storefront - not quite a cityscape. I love finding the textures, designs, and colors of surface art in unexpected places.
Located at 1100 Main Street in Hamburg, this building features an ornamental façade manufactured by Mesker Bros. Iron Works of Saint Louis, Missouri.
Hamburg is a small town located just east of Interstate 29 in the southwest corner of the state in Fremont County.
I'd heard that there was going to be a new Uniqlo flagship store - the largest store on Fifth Avenue.
Having now been to the opened store, it feels a little weird to have bothered or cared to see it before it opened, but, there it is.
I do kind of wish that companies would simplify and streamline their branding. Everyone knows who Uniqlo is, but who the hell is Fast Retailing? If you want to be that big and that well-know as Uniqlo, you should probably just ditch the "Fast Retailing" name.
Your storefront windows are the perfect place to promote and highlight products, services, etc. Use graphics on the glass and your display to create a full design.

STORE FRONT II - A HISTORY PRESERVED
Out Now! James and Karla Murray have been capturing impeccably accurate photographs of New York City since the 1990s. In the course of their travels throughout the city’s boroughs they’ve also taken great care to document the stories behind the scenery. The Murrays have rendered the out of the way bodegas, candy shops and record stores just as faithfully as the historically important institutions and well known restaurants, bars and cafes. From the Stonewall Inn to the Brownsville Bike Shop and The Pink Pussycat to Smith and Wolensky, the Murrays reveal how New York’s beleaguered mom & pop business stand in sharp contrast to the city’s rapidly evolving corporate facade. 348 Pages Hardcover 13 1/4" x 12" $65
I've passed this storefront countless times, never stopping to think twice about it. It is one of many window displays on this shopping strip and by far one of the most interesting looking ones...if you stop to look at it.
Finally, I stopped and took in all its oddity–the colorful wigs, heads turned in every direction, the reflection of the store. Just think of all the personalities who could come alive by wearing one of these wigs.
I must admit, it's a weird photo and I was hesitant to settle on this one for this prompt, but I am so intrigued by it.

An old storefront on Main St.
I love tile that looks like a carpet.
Most of the surrounding buildings have concrete or that broken terra cotta tile look.
Unfortunately, plans are to raze this block.

We moved into our storefront at 3404 N. Figueroa St. in May of 2012. I took until October of 2014 to get this sign made and electrified. There is a huge tree that blocks it, so it was always more of a symbolic gesture to have a nice sign up above the storefront doors.
The vinyl work was done by James Cerasani. The electrical work and installation was done by Somerset Waters of the Pacific Electric Worker-Owned Co-op.
