Basement: Old coal storage room, this is directly below the concrete pad with manhole along east exterior of building / parking lot.
Room has been emptied and you can now see the extensive damage and mold / rust / etc.... I recommend having someone come look at it - assessing mold and recommendation on how to seal shut.

Currently a rolling offsite storage unit. Tim lived in this van for a year while waiting for a spot to open up at the subsidized housing building in Palo Alto. The only such housing I've seen. All studio apartments with no kitchen, just a fridge, small counter and kitchen sink and no sink in the bathroom. It is an award winning building in a mixed use downtown neighborhood. People who live there are very tenacious, because that's what it takes to get a spot in the building what with all the forms for the application process and the long wait. All guests have to sign in and out and there's a limit to how many nights a guest can stay. Great location though. I would live there.
While on the road Tim will live in his van again. He is towing it behind the moving van. I came today to help him bleed the brakes.
So far, I have only 5 LPS Blythe. They have ner to no extra clothing... but a bunch of shoes! Most of them are from Polly Pocket.

My 9-year-old wanted pink, so here we are. Just the trim, though - the interiors and top are white. I haven't fastened the side boxes to the end box yet, letting things settle in for a day before nudging everything into place.
Here's what's required to get the car road legal again: remove back seats, fit storage bins. Easier said than done. Whole procedure took a LOT longer than anticipated

This area is up the ramp, in the barn, from this photo. Just imagine you walked up the ramp the tractor is backing up, then you'd be standing next to the dude in the blue pants once you were inside and off the ramp. The tractor backs in and drops the hay on the platform, then drives back out to the field for the next load. This is the third floor of the huge barn.
We forked each tractor-load off the platform and down into these two huge storage areas (you can see where the floor drops off to the left. The storage areas are probably 15-18 feet cubed in volume. You can't even see the level of the hay here, but the barn is now filled with hay. It is up to the ceiling, above and overflowing the rafters and onto the platform and the ramp is full of it as well. Apparently this much hay feeds their six cows one year ...
One of the small bedrooms in my house was remodeled by us to hold all of the small parts. All the design work was done by my wife with the exception of the decision to use the sterite drawers and their arrangement, and (as you will see in other images) the brick crown molding, which I conceived and executed.
The work on this room (and all of our Lego Storage even areas not shown) was completed between mid Feb and mid May 2012.
