One of the small bedrooms in my house was remodeled by us to hold all of the small parts. All the design work was done by my wife with the exception of the decision to use the sterite drawers and their arrangement, and (as you will see in other images) the brick crown molding, which I conceived and executed.
The work on this room (and all of our Lego Storage even areas not shown) was completed between mid Feb and mid May 2012.
Finished state. Clockwise - Red - Green - Yellow - Blue walls.

Storage of electricity is arousing fresh interest as a complement to intermittent generation and an alternative to costly grid expansion plans. Given the rapid increase in RES (mainly wind) generation and the obstacles to construction of new lines and even to an upgrading of the existing ones, TSOs and energy companies are looking for alternatives. Alternative solutions are:
1. Reinforcement of the networks
2. Greater flexibility of existing generators, e.g. CCGTs
3. Electricity storage via hydro systems (pumping stations)
4. Other techniques of electricity storage: compressed air and car-type batteries
5. Demand response (possibly accompanied by diffusion of electric vehicles)
Which alternative looks most promising?
Should the solution be left to market forces or are there regulatory choices to be made?

Could be worse for them: the Pullips are one layer deeper in the same box.

Hydrogen storage materials research at Savannah River National Laboratory.
The Savannah River National Laboratory has teamed with Aiken County, South Carolina to establish a new laboratory at the Savannah River Research Campus, a county- owned research park adjacent to the Savannah River Site. Aiken County designed, constructed and will maintain the 60,000 square foot Center for Hydrogen Research ( CHR) with the intent of leasing half of the facility to SRNL to house their Hydrogen Technology Research Lab (HTRL) houses SRNL's unclassified, nonradioactive R&D on hydrogen storage, processing, production and detection in support of both the National Nuclear Security Administration and hydrogen energy programs.

This year I'm growing: Copra, Zeppelin, Stuttgarter and Red Baron as my main storage onions. I'm also growing Forum as a early maturing cooking onion. I'm trying onions from seed, from sets and from plants to see which one stores the best.

Last weekend I went to Plymouth, MA to attend Mr. Rick Sammon photography seminar, I enjoyed his presentation. When I got out from seminar I saw this abandoned storage garage house next to the exit, I decided to stop by and took couple shots there.

Four 3TB storage nodes and an Infiniband switch all arrived in separate boxes tightly attached to a shipping pallet.
It may appear that mere mortals are not supposed to set up and install these systems -- Gentle "Call Isilon to arrange setup" stickers are on each box along with a cool set of shock sensors that trip if the boxes are mishandled during shipping.
The fact is that one of Isilon selling points is how easy it is to setup, deploy and manage.
My time estimates:
- 1.5 hours to unpack and cable the systems
- 10 minutes using minicom to configure the initial cluster via serial port
- 5 minutes to power on each additional node and allow it to join the existing cluster
Overall I'd say that this was one of the fastest and easiest high end storage system I've ever brought online.
