It seems endless, where do we put all the things we buy to support our hobbies. I have a whole bookcase of fabric as well as this piece of furniture that used to house my childrens' toys which now houses, quilting books, knitting needles, thread and all the other gadgets that go with the hobbies of sewing, quilting, knitting and embroidery.
Half my life sits in a storage unit now.. Weird thing is that I don't miss most of it.. Maybe I'll get rid of most of it when I get a new pad..

Long story short - The storage shed was unlocked and we had to look inside before closing the combination padlock. No harm done, but we were tempted to get a wheelbarrow full of pig poop & park it inside as a reminder to actually make sure the door was LOCKED.
To solve all the messy stuff at the base of my two main alcoves, I measured up, went to the wood yard, selected some 18mm thick MDF, got the man to cut it for me, then glued, screwed and assembled two lovely bespoke units. This one is nice as I recycled the glass doors from the previous crappy TV stand.
