Sheerlegs MATADOR 3 unload the barge at the LBC TANKTERMINALS in the third Petrol Harbour in Rotterdam Botlek.
The Plano 3620 box is just the right size for my RF-602 Tx & Rx storage, plus batteries, leads and adapters.
I assume these were on the grounds (literally) of a wooden boat workshop.
1980s film camera prints found in a bookcase cabinet cleanout. Digitally photocopied with an iPhone 6s. JPG image tweaked in Photoshop Elements with NIK Dfine, DxO ViewPoint, and Anthropics Smart Photo Editor plugins.
My office storage unit:
It takes up less than half of the closet and includes three file containers, storage for office supplies, CDs, paper, scrapbooking supplies, gift wrapping supplies, photos and more.
My Cheap Solutions:
I have a few small, inexpensive plastic boxes, and I combine those with shoe boxes and gift boxes. The pink boxes on the top shelf are gift boxes from Victoria's Secret.
I used hand-written labels; cheap and easy.
Because this is storage for most of my kitchen appliances, I affixed a power strip on the wall behind the shelf and secured it with Scotch foam mounting tape. (you can see it in the upper left-hand corner). As with many of my projects at home and pretty much everything I do at work, I made gratuitous use of the Montera cable management kits.
Yes, that is a Vurm wine rack. The pot the basil is in came from Paxton Gate in San Francisco.
The hallway in the storage facility that holds most of Scott's belongings now, as well as some of mine. It's slight off-centre, but I like the way the workmen at the end of the hallway worked themselves into the photo while the local rock station blasted in the background.

Storage of electricity is arousing fresh interest as a complement to intermittent generation and an alternative to costly grid expansion plans. Given the rapid increase in RES (mainly wind) generation and the obstacles to construction of new lines and even to an upgrading of the existing ones, TSOs and energy companies are looking for alternatives. Alternative solutions are:
1. Reinforcement of the networks
2. Greater flexibility of existing generators, e.g. CCGTs
3. Electricity storage via hydro systems (pumping stations)
4. Other techniques of electricity storage: compressed air and car-type batteries
5. Demand response (possibly accompanied by diffusion of electric vehicles)
Which alternative looks most promising?
Should the solution be left to market forces or are there regulatory choices to be made?
I always love when museums have a visible open storage area. This one has a nice didactic element explaining to the curious visitor such mysteries as the museological tripartite numbering system.
