So we fabricated a custom ported enclosure to house a Diamond Audio subwoofer, in the spare tire well, and we built a new steel mesh-reinforced trunk panel, to protect the sub and port. To provide power to the system, a pair of stacked Diamond Audio amps were installed. And we maintained the original factory look and function of the trunk, by reinstalling the original metal rails, on top of the new trunk panel. Let’s throw back to 2008, when we completed a full Kenwood USA audio installation on this gorgeous Harley Davidson. Upgrades included a Kenwood flipout touchscreen radio, a Kenwood eXcelon 4 channel amp, Kenwood speakers, and a Kenwood eXcelon 8” shallow subwoofer (which fires through a grill behind the passenger’s seat). Since this build, improvements in technology have resulted in micro amps that produce more power in an even smaller space. Today, we can conserve valuable trunk space by fitting the amp inside the fairing. With 65 days until Spring, it’s not too early to start planning upgrades for your bike!

It’s Thursday! So let’s throw back to one of our favorite projects, from 2008: A fleet of ’08 Chevrolet Tahoe full-size SUVs that we transformed into mobile marketing tools for Bridgemaxx, a provider of high-speed wireless internet access. They needed a mobile event, presentation, & meeting machine that could entertain a crowd and demonstrate the capabilities of their service. So we created a slide out desk (for quick and easy set-up), a custom designed “bridge” (to hold the wireless modem provided to Bridgemaxx subscribers), and installed a state-of-the-art entertainment center consisting of a 1500 watt power inverter, flat screen TV, LED lighting, PA system with wireless microphone, 2 Fusion amplifiers, and subwoofers, speakers, & CD/DVD player from JVC. Designing and fabricating these unique vehicles was a fun and engaging challenge, for our talented installation team, and they served Bridgemaxx as highly-effective marketing assets!

When the owner of this new Jaguar XE had a vision for his ideal subwoofer, he contacted our team at Stereo-In-Dash South, and they got to work building this awesome custom creation! They fabricated this plexiglass enclosure and equipped it with a JL Audio 12W6v3 subwoofer, a JL Audio XD1000/1 amplifier, and custom LED lighting that can be controlled via remote control to display any color combination. And yes, this setup sounds as beautiful as it looks!

They sure don’t make them like they used to, do they? Check out the original metal dash, in this classic ’61 Chevrolet Impala! The owner wanted to enjoy his music through a modern Alpine head unit, but none of us wanted to disturb the condition of the original dash, so the team at our Beavercreek store put it in the glove box! Off road recreation workhorse or tune-cranking party machine? How about both! Today, we’re throwing back to 2013, when we installed a massive sound system upgrade, in this Toyota FJ Cruiser! First, we removed the factory components (including the original Toyota 8-inch subwoofer that looked oddly out-of-place, in the rear cargo area). Then we insulated strategic locations with Dynamat. And we installed a very high-quality Linear Power Blues component set and subs, consisting of dash-mouted tweeters, door-mounted 8-inch midrange speakers (using our own custom-fabricated adapter plates), and four 10-inch subwoofers in a pair of vehicle-specific enclosures (that looked even more integrated than the original factory unit)! It’s Thursday! So let’s throw back to one of our favorite projects, from 2008: A fleet of ’08 Chevrolet Tahoe full-size SUVs that we transformed into mobile marketing tools for Bridgemaxx, a provider of high-speed wireless internet access. They needed a mobile event, presentation, & meeting machine that could entertain a crowd and demonstrate the capabilities of their service. So we created a slide out desk (for quick and easy set-up), a custom designed “bridge” (to hold the wireless modem provided to Bridgemaxx subscribers), and installed a state-of-the-art entertainment center consisting of a 1500 watt power inverter, flat screen TV, LED lighting, PA system with wireless microphone, 2 Fusion amplifiers, and subwoofers, speakers, & CD/DVD player from JVC.
