Now everyone (yes even you) can make Stuffed mushrooms.
Ingredients:
1 - block of cream cheese
7-8 - strips of bacon
30-40 - mushrooms
Step1: Mix a block of softened cream cheese with 7-8 strips chopped bacon fried crisp
(figure1) .
Step2: Remove all stems from mushroom caps, by applying light pressure to the
stems ( figure 2).
Step3: Select the baking dish of your choice, and fill with empty mushroom caps
(figure 4).
Step4: Take a scoop of cream cheese mixture, & fill mushroom caps so they are
mounded above Mushroom cap (figure 5-9). Repeat until all caps are filled.
Step5: Cook at 450o F until mushrooms are heated through, & filling is slightly
browned. Approx. 15 minutes (figure 10)
Step6: *IMPORTANT* eat one for yourself before placing them on the plate, because
by the time your guest attack them there will be none left.
Note: - will make 40+ mushroom caps.
- Stuffed mushrooms is not an exact science.
- leftover filling is amazing on toast, or out of the fridge with a spoon (so I've been told).
