Max loves a giant feather. Max and I stayed home together yesterday on
account of me losing the battle of My Voice against General Persistent
Cough. Chris came home from Kansass last night and took care of me,
and made me tasty breakfast this morning so I could take my weird
tasting medicine with some substantial food. He makes the tastiest
eggs, which I will not be mentioning to my Grama, who is the previous
champion of eggs.
This weekend we were in Barto to visit my parents and so Max could
visit his doggy cousins. It was cold, but beautiful. I love Meadowloft
(yes, my step-dad Wolfie named the house and land, he's a hippie, I
love it), and I think I would like to raise my kids in a place like
that someday. Also, I would maybe like to get some chickens (see
aforementioned tasty eggs).
I took Chris to the local weekend indoor flea market freak show, and
we both walked through the aisles being like, "Nom, nom, nom," at the
old books and hardware and random machinery. My dad met up with us
there, and he bought me a cast iron pan that Chris helped me pick out.
Turns out that my dad used to live near Atlanta (news to me!) so he
and Chris talked for a bit about some outdoor areas there. I don't
know whether he's changed, I've changed, or both, but it's a lot
easier to get along with my dad these days. I'm glad we're able to
have a good time without fighting about stupid random stuff.
Anyway, it's still February, it's still snowy, but it's light out when
I leave work, and that means spring is coming. And that means flowers,
leaves, open windows, outdoor dining, pleasant walks, and camping! I'm
looking forward to it. I should also hear about grad school soon. I
figure if I don't get in, I will join the circus, become a freelance
art teacher, or do something involving less nose wiping. We'll see!
P.S. St. Baldrick's Day is less than a month away! If you haven't
already, go to www.stbaldricks.org, search for Laura Marsh, and
donate to a good cause. My head is looking forward to the spring
shearing!
I stayed home from school today. It was really boring being all alone, but it was way better than actually going to school. So, in my immense boredom I created this! It is Yile and Manny being cutely ridiculous. As always. I think that they are just darling. I watched About a Boy last night. It was really good.
I ate all of the cookies today. I am going to regret that later. Of course.
HAPPY FRIDAY EVERYONE!

To view in stereo, sit 2-3 feet from the monitor and gently cross your eyes so that the two images become three. The one in the middle will be in 3d. If you are finding this difficult, you may be trying too hard. Viewing the original size is best.
Headed to the city with a few friends this morning to shoot some industrial. Checked out two different locations. The light in the first location was completly magical. Today was my first day back after the Christmas holidays. It was the worst 8 hours of my life. Gotta love being stuck in a cube! Ranger Hockey tonight against Barrie... Looking for a big win against a tough team!
This is Lila's "Stay and watch the workshop" battle collar.
I have fifty pounds of slightly controllable, street battle hardened pitbull. With this collar she is a formidable opponant to man and beast alike.
Stayed home and chilled. My younger brother Rhandy needed some new things for his room along with my parents so we decided to shop at Ikea. I wanted a new display case, but they ended up being sold out. I guess I'll try my luck online.

Day 3...19" deep off back porch. Snow shoes are inevitably necessary to trek around. Front is twice as deep as the back...even after 6 shovels and 2 plowing the night before. Best to stay home...watch Sochi games and craft.

Staying home on a Friday night...again...
BUT ANYWAYS. I totally PWNED a Junior today. (For those who do not know, I hate the junior class. They're super annoying and obnoxious; they're all a mess). Well, there was this one kid who would always ask me if I was okay, since he most likely saw me crying at school on Monday. Well, he's in my multimedia class and he told me "I like your outfit" Thanks... "I like your earrings!" Thanks... (btw, I could tell he was just being a smartass). So later on in class while he was talking to his friends, I go up to him and say, "Hey. You got some brown stuff on your nose" and he goes, "huh? What? *scrubs nose* Did I get it?"
And while all this is happening, his friends are trying to hold back their laughter until he asked them what was so funny until they finally told him that he was being a kiss ass. They, then, burst out into laughter. It was hilarious. He then called me "quick". Is that good?
The hubby and I had been on vacation for a week. Although I would have loved to have taken Gromit with us, sometimes it just doesn't work out. So Gromit stayed home and took care of his Auntie! I think he had more of a vacation then we did. We got up early and took him to the beach this morning. Here he sees something on the trail....maybe.
Today I had to stay home from class to try to finish my dissertation as I was supposed to have a tutorial with my tutor tmrw. Obviously 8000 words in a day is impossible, so I'm not going to even book a Tutorial, I just hope I get it done on time!
I've only been to the library today, instead of class but being ill in the library is torture and I didn't get any work done so I went home. The Zebra in the cannon is a McDonald's toy that Dhwani left here ages ago, so I've hijacked it XD And the little car I got from a Kinder Egg. I used to be obsessed with them, so I have several random toys lying around my room.
Stayed home from work and took Shan to the dr. today.
I really do ever fix my hair cute and wear make-up...I swear!
Shan's got an ear and sinus infection. Normally, she could just stay with Patrick, but he had an interview at Social Security today for disability benefits. It was made clear to us that you don't want to postpone those appointments, so I got a sub for today. Actually a nice day.
After we got home, she slept for a bit and I detailed my car. Cool!
