Stayed home all day today. Spend time talking on the phone to my son Levi, my mom and my sister and Leora who is down state, oh and Lynn called too from work. :) Lots of phone for one day!
I have a cold now.... Ambers I think. So I washed clothes today and did get to hang some laundry out to dry. The clothes line is still snowy under it but I hung a few things carefully..... It was a really nice warm day. I wish I would have went out but I did get at least to the yard. Then I decided to play with the camera a little bit. I pretty sure I better start saving up for a new one pretty soon.
This picture reminds me of being a little kid out camp. We had a black light that my uncle would take out sometimes and I remember feeling soooo lucky that we got to use it. It would make everything look so cool. Freckles really showed up and the teeth so white and every little speck on things stood out. White was amazing. We had a nice camp to grow up going to. Shag Lake in Qwinn. What a great place and great memories.
Stayed home from work today to recuperate from 16 hour drive from hell yesterday, I managed to sneak a few pictures earlier this morning. I ordered a new lighting system that should be here in like two weeks that will allow me to continue pursuing photography at night (as most of the time I am too busy during the day).
Too much like hard work!

I am sick today. I stayed home, finished a book and began a new one, played with the baby, and shot my 365. A great day spoiled by a sore throat.
Friends, I have been especially bad at commenting these past few weeks, and I can't promise that today will be any better. I will catch up soon, very soon!

After staying home a couple hours with the girls {and letting Maddison's Benadryl do it's job} I went to meet a lady to sell something I listed on Craigslist.
It was a cute McDonald's play set kitchen/drive thru. It'd sat around here for years and no one ever played with it. UNTIL I listed it on Craigslist. I was a little sad to sell it, but it's not as if they're lacking in the toy dept.

I stayed home with Ava today and I took a couple shots of her while she was playing. I like how this one turned out. She was funny this morning. After she woke up, we sat down in her chair so she could drink her milk. She looked up at me with a big smile on her face and said "Hi mama". Oh well, she'll get "dada" figured out one of these days. It's the thought that counts.
It was a cloudy/snowy day today, so the light coming in the window behind her was very soft. I used a tiny bit of the camera's pop-up flash for fill.

Stayed home again today and yes, we got birds at our feeder! The squirrels did not show up, perhaps because they saw their embarrassing Flickr pictures. However, I am embarrassed to say that I don't know what birds they are. They looked like a couple to me.
I looked it up and I think they are a purple finch couple. Am I right?
