Staying Home Covid-19 is here and we all have to stay at home to halt the spread of the virus. We photographers are reduced to taking pictures in the house, so here are a few things of interest.
White Smooth Glossy is the type of photographic paper in the store. This is the old fashioned light sensitive slosh in chemicals stuff.

Taken on 1st April,2020 at 1148hrs with a Canon EOS 650D digital still camera, through a Canon EF-S 18-55mm (29-88mm in 35mm terms) Æ’/3.5-5.6 zoom lens, with a Powerextra DF-400 bounce flash on 1/16th power, post-processed with Adobe Photoshop CS5.

Darek stayed home with his cold and I went to Buster's 4th Birthday Party. You can tell that Buster is Bill & Jerry's only child. And talk about spoiled! The food was delicious, the people were friendly (I met Rabbi Sally!), and the birthday cake (carrot) was moist and decadent tasting.
Some establishments have adapted to the Stay Home, Stay Healthy Order and social distancing rules by adding signage and requiring 6 feet of space between people in line.

And the people stayed home. And read books, and listened, and rested, and exercised, and made art, and played games, and learned new ways of being, and were still. And listened more deeply. Some meditated, some prayed, some danced. Some met their shadows. And the people began to think differently.
And the people healed. And in the absence of people living in ignorant, dangerous, mindless, and heartless ways, the earth began to heal.
And when the danger passed, and the people joined together again, they grieved their losses, and made new choices, and dreamed new images, and created new ways to live and heal the earth fully, as they had been healed.
I stayed home yesterday, which was odd, I don't usually stay home during snow storms, but I'm glad I did. Just as I was wondering whether or not I should have tried going in, a huge blast of thunder let out and it started to hail. HAIL! During a snow storm! And thunder! Then it just started sleeting like crazy. Then it quit then it started snowing again.
I'm a little over winter at this point.

i stayed home from school today :) which is why i decided to upload this. lots of glitter = sparkly boobs :( it won't come off. hahaha soo KATY PERRY, rocks my freaking world. god i love that girl. she's amazing, inspiring, and soo pretty. if you haven't seen her new video firework..watch it!!!!!! it is so inspiring. and my message for today, just be yourself. its hard for some people (like me) but such a good feeling and thats what the whole song is about, just bursting out of your shell and shining in front of everyone. :) i'm not a perfect person about some things, but i love everyone &really i have improved over this whole year about my outlook on most people. and i wanna love everyone for who they are. i'm all for everyone being there self, if your gay, straight, whatever you are it would never matter to me :)

For the fifteenth time this Lockdown, the "Belstead banker" was at his usual location today, stopping briefly to take nine photo's of Sheds, Skodas, Dusty Bins & Plastic, during his 3 hour "EXCERCISE" session!
Well if you believe that is true, then I'm the Queen of Sheba (giving up the trains for a couple months won't kill him, but the virus could)!!!
Finally, after clear guidance last Frdiay about not visiting stations during Lockdown, there a photographs/videos at Waterbeach of 1Q90 tonight, on the Anglia Gen Facebook group!!!!
I stayed home. It’s a good thing that I didn’t buy tickets to a concert. Carol & I would have gotten soaked. This was the selfie I had planned when I saw that my white ginger was blooming. I just didn’t know the blossoms would be destroyed before I took the picture.
stayed home from school today; spent my time packing up and throwing my stuff into cardboard boxes instead.
it was also my little brother's 6th birthday party today :) it's like a week before his actual birthday mainly cause we're gonna be on the plane back home on that day :}
took this in the parking area of carrefour (which is where pizza hut (the place of his birthday party) was)

Stayed home today for round 8,000 of the internet repair attempt (and it was also unsuccessful.) Kept busy while waiting by getting some stuff done around the house. Soon as Mr. Verizon left, I headed over to buy some spackle to hide the mistakes I made when hanging up a towel rack.
This wonderful old van was in the Home Depot parking lot. Looked it up - this thing is about as old as I am. It appears to be holding up better!

Hannah stayed home from school today. She had a horribly runny nose and hacking cough. She said if she got dressed up she would feel better. I set up all her blankets and pillows on the floor in the living room. Hannah got dressed in her heels and flower girl dress and watched Dora the Explorer. She felt better by the end of the day.
This is a whimsical found object assemblage inspired somewhat by some surgery my Dad had last week.
My dad had the toe next to his big toe on one of his feet removed. It had been broken several times and arthritis was making it so it would bend under the other toes and was affecting his feet in various ways. So, they amputated it. If you are at all familiar with the nursery rhyme where you wiggle the toes of a baby or child it was the toe that would have been "the little piggy that stayed home".
As in...
This little piggy went to market...
This little piggy stayed home...
This little piggy had roast beef...
This little piggy had none...
And This little piggy went wee-wee-wee, all the way home.
My dad offered to give me his toe to use for one of my assemblages, but I declined that gruesome offer.. *L*
