The Waldrapp ibis (Geronticus eremita), also known as the hermit ibis or northern bald ibis (Geronticus eremita) is found rocky regions or open desert like locations, usually close to sources of running water. Its numbers have decreased severely over the last 300 years. It was once widespread in Europe and North Africa. It differs from other Ibis birds in that it has a bald head and does not hunt in water. As with other Ibis it breeds on cliff edges and rock faces. It lays two or three eggs when breeding and eats insects and small creatures, especially lizards.
Statistics for adult bird:
Weight: 1.0 – 1.3 kg.
Length: 70 – 80 cm.
Wingspan: 125 – 135cm.

U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) Secretary Sonny Perdue signs for the cotton ginnings, cranberries, and crop production reports produced by National Agricultural Statistics Service (NASS) Crops Branch Chief Lance Honig and World Agricultural Outlook Board (WAOB) Chairman Dr. Seth Meyer, in the NASS Agricultural Statistics Board Lockup facility in Washington, D.C., on Thursday, August 10, 2017. Before entering the Lockup facility, visitors are given a briefing on NASS history and processes, then given a chance to ask questions. Inside the facility, visitors and staff are required to remove and secure electronic communication devices before entering. Statisticians who are secured in the facility over night generate the reports. The finished reports are released to press journalists two hours early, so they can write their stories within a data secure room. Their stories are sent and the reports are made publicly available, at 12 noon. While there, Secretary Perdue tours through the NASS offices to meet the staff. USDA Photo by Lance Cheung.

In the next five years, nearly two-thirds of the Senior Executive Service (SES)–the elite cadre of civil servants who hold the top managerial and policy positions in government–will be retirement eligible. Given the complex challenges confronting our government, the need for strong leaders to fill these executive positions is critical. Are federal agencies prepared for the potential turnover? Are agency leaders identifying and developing aspiring executives?
That is what the Partnership for Public Service and McKinsey & Company set out to understand in the new report, “Building the Leadership Bench: Developing a Talent Pipeline for the SES.” The report includes four phases of a cohesive SES pipeline-development strategy and case studies of agencies who excel in their execution of one or more of these phases.

Modelling headshot
Modeling head shots or comp cards, sometimes also called tear sheets, are a compilation of images for casting in one sheet with a résumé of work, name and relevant statistics. They are often done in color; however in some jurisdictions, such as the UK, they may be in black-and-white. Models often use them for castings and modeling work applications. A close-up head shot is often required to show a model's skin complexion for beauty work.
Modeling head shots are usually used for:
Comp cards or tear sheets
Modeling portfolios
TV advertisements for skin products
Magazine advertisements for creams and other skin or hair products
Online industry profiles
Comp cards are one of the cornerstones of a model’s “marketing materials”. They are about 5½×8” and printed on both sides. Almost all comp cards are in color but may include black-and-white images. A model may have four to five images on the comp card and at least one of these images will be a head shot.
Corporate head shots are portraits often produced digitally and used for engaging in social media, the 'about us' page and industry specialty sites. A headshot or head shot is often used for branding and to showcase the business leader's life, style and personality while corporations will use the headshot to merge branding between the people working for them and its agency. Traditional head shots are still taken in a studio setting, though shots "on-location" or "in-the-field" continue to increase in popularity. In both cases, backgrounds tend to be simple. Subjects are often shown head-to-chest or head-to-torso.
Corporate head shots serve a variety of purposes:
Annual reports
LinkedIn personal profiles as well as publisher profiles
About us page
(Nonstandard) résumés
Corporate catalogs, brochures and advertising collateral
Company publications and websites, internal and external
Press releases and other announcements
Marketing materials

" Lies, damned lies, and statistics" ; is a phrase describing the persuasive power of numbers, particularly the use of statistics to bolster weak arguments, and the tendency of people to disparage statistics that do not support their positions. It is also sometimes colloquially used to doubt statistics used to prove an opponent's point.
The term was popularised in the United States by Mark Twain (among others), who attributed it to the 19th-century British Prime Minister Benjamin Disraeli (1804–1881): "There are three kinds of lies: lies, damned lies, and statistics." However, the phrase is not found in any of Disraeli's works and the earliest known appearances were years after his death. Other coiners have therefore been proposed.
