We had planned on going to the temple
tomorrow morning but that plan is on hold.
Right now both of us are really burned out.
Everything is ready to go except me. No# 1
has spent the last few days trying to keep
me standing upright. The short bursts of
energy are followed by long periods of
exhaustion. Tomorrow I'll spend most
of the day in a state of meditation.
That's orders from no# 1 ;-)---
When we return to the temple all the
dogs will receive their injections.
Mr Ed will get his carrots.
No# 1 will assist me.

I always think the trees which surround Balvaird Castle look as though they are sentinels protecting it.
And often they outshine it!
Yes, it IS as vivid as this !!!
When I entered the church, St Stephens, Macquarie Street, Sydney, I exclaimed WOW out loud.
What could be more fashionable than a single white tail feather ? It's a bold statement by any means, and I'm sure he's the talk of the bird world.
The white tail feather is actually Leucism which is caused by uneven distribution of melanin in the feathers.
Out of the blue our 11 year old granddaughter recently told us she wanted to be a photographer when she grows up. Her next statement was that she wanted to shoot landscapes. She spent the day with us on Wednesday and took her first landscape photo. I'm going to make a 5 X 7 or 8 X 10 and frame it for her. Hopefully it will help to peak her interest.

This is not a specific anti-videogames statement nor a violence-glorifying picture - and it's by no means a suicide portrait. It's more about certain aspects of virtuality and reality getting mixed in a bad way. The picture should draw attention to the complexity of videogames with their potential harmful (media violence, videogames addiction etc) and their potential beneficial effects (entertainment, escapism etc.).

A duck with odd feathers growing atop its head sports a unique look. This could be a result of molting or mixed breeding.
Okay, so it's a spiderweb. But if that doesn't look like something an actress would wear to the Oscars, I'll eat my hat. The photo quality isn't exactly what I'd like, but I don't have a macro lens, so it's heavily cropped.
Ngl, I completely forgot I had this, and a bunch of others, hence the massive gap between this and the blood teller. So, like last time, let's get into the story:
'Be wary, dear traveller, of he who can raise the dead. He goes by many names. King of the Risen, the Black King, The Eternal howling, but most refer to him as the Risen King. Once thought to be a legend, the Risen King travels the land, followed by his legion of the dead, his loyal followers, deadly in battle and with unimaginable strength.
It is said that he was once a mortal man, a King of a faraway land centuries ago. He was a fair and noble leader, until he found...the rock. The rock, emanating a mysterious purple glow, caused a change in the King, he became obsessed with escaping death. Though the nature of the rock is unknown, it is said that he carried it around with him for the rest of his days, and when he did inevitably die, he was buried with it.
His son succeeded him as ruler, and the country carried on. Until ten years after his death, the royal tomb cracked open, a purple fog flowing from it. Any caught in the fog were killed instantly. But not for long. Within a week, the city was overwhelmed, within a month the land itself. A message was soon sent to the then King of our country, a dire warning:
'All within this land are claimed by the Risen King'
No cry for help, just a simple statement. It is not known who sent that message, if they were living or...dead. With that, the decision was taken to scorch the Risen Kings kingdom, burning the Legions of the dead away, until the land was left barren, inhospitable to life, as well as the dead.
But he survived. Washed up on the shore of our lands, Seen by no one, he disappeared, roaming the land, claiming the dead of our country as his legion. His Army. Be wary traveller, of the Risen King and his legion of lost souls.'
And that's the story of the Risen King, told as a ghost story, but treated as fact. As always, please lemme know what you think :D
Last Friday, my sorority put on a captivating Vampire-themed fashion show called "Vampire En Vogue." As pledges, we were tasked with curating outfits for four distinct categories: Bikini, Formal, Lingerie, and House Pride. This post showcases my first ensemble from the series – the edgy "Gore" bikini line by Spoiled, perfectly paired with their statement thigh-high boots featuring a unique vertebrae heel. I kept the accessories minimal, opting for a delicate nose ring from LittleFish and a chic necklace by Kibitz. The ensemble was completed with Spoiled's "Skully Hand" gloves. The striking makeup look was a collaborative effort by Warpaint, Adored, and Jack Spoon. The pose was expertly choreographed by OMY.

Pumpkin will be going to the dog clinic
in the next couple of days. She seems
better but early every morning, 3-4 AM
she looses her dinner and I clean it up.

does wander around the
place, then down
for a long nap.
