one off antwerps/belgians/worlds most leading contemporary painters, , did a "street-work" in an alley, smak-centre-town (in that narrow street that runs behind the hilton hotel).
the idea is to see people's (read also the-man-in-the-street) reaction if they'd came across a painting of his. would people pay attention/give praise to it as much as they do in the most famous contemporary musea in the world.
we spent some time here/observed on multiple days, ... we know the answer ;-)

Summary Statement writing needs to be done in the form of a table in the particular format prescribed by the Engineers Australia (EA). You need to mention the correct numbers of the indicators, units and elements you are referring to and link them to the text that refer to them in your Career Episodes (CEs). In the Career Episode writing, we told you how to number the paragraphs. Now, you have to mention the number of the paragraphs allowing the EA assessor to look directly at the relevant paragraph to find a particular element or indicator without having to go through the entire CDR report first.
Dr. Jatinder Baidwan, chief coroner, has released the following statement regarding the decision to direct an inquest into the events that occurred in Tumbler Ridge on Feb. 10, 2026:
“On the afternoon of Feb. 10, 2026, an entire community was forever changed and multiple families who call Tumbler Ridge home received the catastrophic news that their loved ones had lost their lives.
“The news that an individual had killed two adults and six children in a private residence and a local secondary school quickly spread across national and international media. With that, came passionate public discussions about mental health and possible gaps in support systems.
“It is with this in mind that I have reflected on the BC Coroners Service’s responsibility to reinforce confidence in the system and support public safety in British Columbia when it comes to all sudden, unnatural and unexpected deaths, and all children’s deaths.
“That is why, pursuant to Section 18 of the Coroners Act, I am directing a coroner’s inquest to publicly review the circumstances that led to nine individuals losing their lives in Tumbler Ridge on Feb. 10.
“An inquest will provide an independent and transparent forum to publicly examine the circumstances surrounding the deaths, assess systemic and procedural issues, and make evidence-based recommendations aimed at preventing similar incidents in the future. Importantly, it will involve the participation of the people in British Columbia through a jury of five to seven people.
“My sincere and heartfelt condolences go out to the families who have lost their loved ones. The grief they are experiencing at this time is unimaginable. The BC Coroners Service will continue to work with the families and the community of Tumbler Ridge to make sure their needs are met and their questions answered.
“An announcement with more details about the timing of the inquest will be provided once our investigative phase is concluded.”

My work is largely based on process, and paint as a medium. I have always used found imagery and literature as large influences in some parts of my work, coupled with the process itself. Through developing and defining my distinct working methods as an artist I have begun to work on a large scale, and certainly the idea and importance of the use of appropriate scale for work has become important to my practise.
In my work I aim to clarify complicated conceptual ideas and transfer them into something very immediate and expressive; an instant emotional response to the world around me. My use of research is important; I gain particular insight and inspiration from things that we would recognise as having a very immediate and obvious emotional response to. For example, literature, film, or communication, are all things that are designed to provoke an emotional response.
I work quickly and use a wide range of mediums and techniques that best communicate my ideas. The hope for my work in the future is to extend my use of medium and branch into more expressive work and to paint on a larger and more ambitious scale, and use a wider range of methods such as printing and three-dimensional work to express, explore and develop my ideas in a more complete way and create an ongoing and engaging body of work.

Although I am for capital punishment I find it easier to make an image that is against it. My intent is to ask the question of whether or not justice is served by killing a man who killed. The pain of knowing the life is forfeit is enough to make a man suffer anyway.

The best BBQ around. that's a bold statement for a New Yorker but here me out. The owner is of Indian (India) and American descent. He's from Texas and put together Indian spices with traditional BBQ...and he does it WELL, hence the James Beard nomination.... TWICE. It's as unique as it gets, and out of this world! he has some traditional BBQ as well and it's on par, but his Barbacurry Beef, Dip Dip Chicken....hell everything is really wonderful. A true "must go" if ever in Buffalo. there's often a wait, but just chill with the crowd and go with it. and if they run out (which happens) and you get to the head of the line....don't get annoyed....try something else. It's all good and you can't be disappointed.

My statement:
Written Bodies goes beyond what people see, by showing the body in all its forms – marked and unmarked.
Through a diversity of cultures, people, and ritual, one story is told with many voices. Ancient traditions crossover to modern day and spiritual practices
continue to be observed.
Images of purposeful scars and experiences injected with meaning are paired with my un-chosen and unwanted scars to show the beauty in the marked body.

On 13 November 2024, the UN Resident Coordinator in Thailand convened 59 University Presidents and their representatives under the Sustainable University Network (SUN Network) and Council of University Presidents of Thailand (CUPT), to sign the Statement of Commitment to the Sustainable Development Goals.
The Minister of Higher Education, Science, Research and Innovation of Thailand witnessed the signing ceremony and expressed support for the commitment made to enhance greening higher education and the outcomes of the Summit of the Future, as well as to promote the role of young people as active agents of change.
Emphasising the significant milestone made by 59 signatory universities across Thailand, the panel discussion on 'Universities for Tomorrow: Greening Higher Education' further noted the crucial role of universities in advancing the SDGs, partnerships for impact, along with the recognition of youth leadership in addressing sustainable development challenges.
The event was also attended by representatives from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Thailand, Global Compact Network Thailand, and university-level Model UN clubs.
