Conception, chorégraphie Pierre Rigal
Après Erection, Asphalte et Press, Pierre Rigal nous présente sa dernière création. Cette nouvelle commande du Festival de hip-hop Suresne Cités Danse s’intéresse à la différence. En essayant de la gommer, cette chorégraphie ne fait que la mettre en évidence sur fond de drapeau bleu, blanc, rouge. Ce constat paradoxal et ironique offre des situations chorégraphiques et théâtrales humoristiques et poétiques, pleines de fougue et d’énergie.

The datestone marked MDCCCXXV is not the date of the building, but the date Standard Life was founded. The pediment and carved tympanum came from an earlier building on the site by David Bryce, from the 1830s. This was demolished and replaced by the current building 1897-1901.

James wielding the flag for once instead of providing pirate ship propulsion. This was shortly before a rather unfortunate accident involving the bamboo flagpole coming into rather abrupt contact with one of the lightbulbs along the awning.
