The Lyric Theatre was built in 1914, as a Vaudeville theatre. It has been vacant since the 1970's. Fund-raising is currently underway for for extensive renovation.

It was fascinating to see the inside of this grand old vaudeville house.....It's fallen into terrible shape, but it's being cleaned up, with hopes to restore it. Looking at the sad, old Lyric, and then touring the grand Alabama Theatre, it's exciting to think that the Lyric could be restored just as beautifully!

The "before". Stage hands, riggers, master electricians and lighting directors build the roof and stage for the summer season of the Tulalip Amphitheater.
This photo is an example of one of the few times that I am happy to have left my cheep UV filter on when it should have been off. The filter added the cool glare.
