I scored a working pair of 1000-watt Berkey Colortran stage lights for free. These babies will make you sweat! Along with the lights I have transparency gel holders so I can change light colors or diffuse the light.

Brew Brothers
Tonight is the first of a two-night stint at Brew Brother in Eldorado Scioto Downs. This is the first time I've ever played here but TailGatorz have been here quite a few times. They have house sound and a killer light show. Nice stage, too!
I am using my Mesa/Boogie Mark IIb combo tonight and hoping it works out okay. Chris brought the chicken coups since we are having our show video taped for a future promotion video. I brought the Zoom Q3 to capture room audio for the video but we quickly realized that wasn't going to cut it. The video guy didn't have any quality audio recording gear or a way to take a feed off the board. I didn't have a proper cable to take a feed off the board for the Q3 so we were kind of stuck. The sound guy said his board records and he could work up a separate mix. He could dump the recording onto a USB stick if we had one; nobody had one. The video guy said he had one at home and could run and get it but he might miss part of the first set so he took off to get it. When he got back it turned out that his USB drives are formatted for Mac and the board wouldn't recognize it. The decision was to get the video anyway and I will bring in a USB stick tomorrow and get the mix from the sound guy.
Earlier today I picked up Madison to take her to get her paycheck. She doesn't have direct deposit and likes to cash it before depositing it so it is more readily available. Uh...just set up direct deposit, safe yourself the hassle, and you would have been paid last night! Kids!
We had lunch at Pies & Pints in the Short North. My first time there!
