Normally if I process a shot, I try to increase detail as much as I can get away with, but here I took the opposite approach, in hopes of enhancing the ethereal qualities of the photo (mostly thanks to the venue/stage lighting). Taken at Cuisine En Locale in Somerville MA.

Round three of SMOKEFEST and once again the whole night was absolutely amazing 😍🔥🎶✨
Taxi: #SMOKEFEST 5 FESTIVAL GROUNDS
The singers, the DJs, the shows and the energy were seriously top tier again.
One of my biggest highlights this time was Post Malone SL . . . wow 😍🔥 I really loved his performance.
And of course there was another highlight yeahhh ✨
Semina Live was there as a guest too and together we rocked some of the awesome shows before she had to head off to her own performance 🔥🎶
Damn, that was . . . mhmmm . . . when you know, you know 😎🔥✨
The whole atmosphere was fantastic and once again SMOKEFEST delivered such a damn good night.

There are a lot of bands doing a tribute to the band Chicago, but back in the early 90’s, when Powerhouse decided to put together their Chicago Transit tribute act, they were the first in the world to do so. And they remain today as the longest running Chicago tribute band and the only one to carry four lead vocalists, just as the band Chicago does.
The band’s 5 singers, 4 of which are lead singers, the 3-piece horn section and the intricate horn arrangements of the band’s past trombonist, Dan Elliot, made this show a natural for the band – even getting credit from the band Chicago themselves, back in the 90’s.

After I was done shooting the Tom Petty Tribute Band with my 75-300mm zoom lens, I put my 18-55mm lens back on to get this shot of more people gathering in front of the stage. Either there weren't that many Tom Petty fans at the Cruise Night, or else they weren't impressed with this particular group.
This is Cal McKim, a senior I shot with this week who was endlessly kind and enjoyable to work with. At this moment he was singing Michael Buble and pretending to perform for me. Thanks, guy. :)
