Después de un tiempo envuelto en lluvias, llevamos unos pocos días con unas temperaturas y unos cielos primaverales, así que me acerqué al río para disfrutar de estos momentos que nos brinda un Duero lleno de fuerza.
After a time wrapped in rain, we have spent a few days with spring temperatures and skies, so I went to the river to enjoy these moments that a Duero full of strength offers us.
In the mead,
Atop an eminent spire,
A solitary bawcock
Heralds vernal imminence.
But he will not be alone.

I love it when the darkness of the winter forest is lit up like a fireworks display by the first Spring blossoms, and the newly unfurled, translucent leaves. Valley country, Southwest France
A little poem I read today -
When the winter winds of March,
are wakening the crocuses and crickets, Did you ever find a Fairy near some budding little thickets...
And when she sees you creeping up to get a closer peek,
she tumbles through the daffodils, a playing hide and seek.
"Spring is strong and virtuous,
Broad-sowing, cheerful, plenteous,
Quickening underneath the mould
Grains beyond the price of gold.
So deep and large her bounties are,
That one broad, long midsummer day
Shall to the planet overpay
The ravage of a year of war."
- Ralph Waldo Emerson

The boys are back, back in town
Watch them spring up and down
Watch them leap, watch them jump
Playing around a lone tree stump
Running wildly , racing fast
Seeing who will be the last
To climb the hill and fly down
Because the boys are back in town

Spring came late this year, 2022 in Wyoming. This photo taking the second week in June shows the marsh along Badwater Creek near Shoshoni Wyoming still in this winter colors. Spring has been wet and colder the normal. The marsh will soon show its typical green summer color.
