Cute, but eating all the crocuses!

A quick stroll to investigate my brother's new neighbourhood in Kent. Down the road, after the tarmac runs out, there seems to be a lot of palatial houses with high fences and large dogs on the other side.

Prunus serrulata.

Prunus serrulata or Japanese cherry is a species of cherry tree that grows naturally in Japan, China, Korea, and Vietnam.

Historically, the Japanese have developed many cultivars by selective breeding of cherry trees, which are produced by the complicated crossing of several wild species, and they are used for ornamental purposes all over the world.
