Last week I was enjoying my second spring hiking, and I suddenly spotted an awesome tree with leaves with this color, and I had to take some shots from it. I love their pastern, and they are also part of a flag, the Canadian flag:

I had to admit that when I saw the tree, I intermediately thought of Autumn, and here is why...

I specially love trees, birds and flowers, but there is so much to see, enjoy and capture during a long hiking trip, a lake, a conservation area, forest or park, the list of places is very long, that‘s why I‘m a photographer!
Graphic design is another way to express myself. I love reinventing a photo that I have seen, in different ways. I use Photoshop to do these transformations, and I also my own photos to create textures.

For the hunt, I put together a sweet little set of makeup. Lelutka HD Eyeshadow and Lip Gloss Appliers. EvoX BOM Blush and Face stickers. And I even made some coordinated rigged mesh nails for Legacy(f), Reborn, and Maitreya.
In the pic I'm also wearing a cute skin from Arabella which comes in 4 Velour skin tones. It looks like it also comes with SLUV version, and lower rez versions, and body skin version. So this might also be a good option for Genus heads, and petite avatars.
West Central Texas is brown and rough much of the year. But if we get some rain in the springtime, the wildflowers provide a lovely show--as they did this year. The red-yellow blossoms here are called Indian Blanket, and the yellow blooms are Cutleaf Daisies. This spring, these were mixed in with Bluebonnets, Phlox, Showy Evening Primrose, and many other types of wildflowers.
I’m on the lookout daily because I really feel with today’s fast pace”Spring Sneaks Up” on us while we’re doing other things.
Another mystery plant in my garden, though this one is trying hard to become a tree, already about eight feet high. It's evergreen, has this pretty blossom in summer and small reddish black berries in the winter – and having hunted through all my plant books, I can't find it.

I think that in mid-May this herb - chamomile (Matricaria recutita) - attracts a variety of interesting insects. Some of them allow me to photograph, like this very small wild bee, while it enjoys the pollen that this small plant provides them.
I still have piles of snow about 8 feet high around my house so I decided to brighten the yard on the first day of spring.
UPDATE: March 24, the flowers have completely disappeared under new snow.
At some point I shall have to move on from spring to summer, but it's notoriously difficult to know quite when that is in England... Meanwhile, here are two more shots of my Philadelphus or Mock Orange, which is blooming away. We've had some very heavy rain in the last few days, hence the raindrop at the bottom right-hand corner here.
Tamani, the female snow leopard cub, suffers so much from spring tiredness - so exhausting, isn't it??
