Keys symbolise home..... also we at Homesparkle, North London cleaners, want to make sure that tenants, landlords and estate agents get always a good night sleep when they choose to use our the end of tenancy clean.

Sarah J. helped to get some of the items displayed on the tables, so the treasure hunters had an easier time finding their loot. Thanks Sarah!

...look ma, no shoes!! For the first time all winter, the shoes and boots are not cluttering up the foyer. Of course, the closet floor is covered with them but hey, out of sight, out of mind, right?

Bees Spring cleaning - Elvir & Brian

In late April, attending to the Beehives to check the cleanliness and see if the bees have enough wax to lay brood (new eggs for new workers).......

Some hives are performing so well they have quickly run out of space and present a chance for swarming - so to avoid that happening (its ok but only under controlled circumstances) we add a top box with new wax frames.

It's finally nice enough here to throw open all of our windows and get some serious cleaning done. I figured I had better take a photo while it was all still shiny and tidy. Goodness knows it never stays that way for very long!

Well I'm still here even if I haven't posted a photo on Flickr in weeks. I'm still taking photos. Yeah, I have very little time to relax let alone take, edit and post photos. I apologize to all my wonderful Flickr friends I've meet in the last couple years.

I want to do better.

To recap the last few weeks:

~my boyfriend packed up all that he could fit into his car to follow his career dream. No more daily grind for "The Man" in an office job. Heading up the Pacific Northwest coast for 2 weeks visiting friends, traveling, eating, blogging. Then 3 months in Europe (mostly France) to reinvest in his passion to write, check stocks/bonds-for learning curve he says, and be his own boss.

I miss him, wish him well in his dream, am extremely proud and jealous of him. I can't wait to see him again this summer.

~I'm looking for a new place to live. To find a new apartment and new roommate(s). Stressing out of being alone w/out my rock boyfriend, truely living by myself independent w/ little cash or resources is both frightening and exhilarating new at the same time.

~Countdown is coming soon this month. Looking for a new place/roommate is like going on blind dates and multiple job interviews all at the same time. "but why don't they like me?" I feel like Goldilocks where nothing is just right.

~Rightfully so, my work at a non-profit for kids is suffering. I'm exhausted with long hours (damn you time change!), meeting with school parents/staff members, training new co-workers, and interviewing for a promotion. Then next month I'm off for a training conference.

So please excuse me if I don't post often. I know I said months back I would keeping going. I want to continue to meet many of you in meet-ups this summer.

I KNOW I will be fine. Hormones go up and down. Good days and bad. Mostly good ones! I'm so happy and excited for newness in my life. I can't wait to share them as they come along.

Nicht nur zu hause findet man beim Putzen die ein oder andere Kuriosität!

Wenn ich nur wüsste wozu man Ausziehtusche braucht ;-))

During our spring break, we did a big apartment cleaning. We took everything out of the refrigerator and freezer, cleaned it inside and out, and then put everything back. I'm happiest when everything is organized!

3.28.11 I've been waiting to put this together for awhile. Complete Wardrobe Closet / Drawer Revamp. All the hanged items rearranged n' makes more sense, I consolidated my black & white T's, I managed to fit all the colors in one drawer, the hoodies, formerly where my hats now reside ^-^, I crammed n' fit them in the open drawer :D. N' my ties now reside in one of my mini drawers n' i believe i have a whole accessory section well on it's way. We'll see how long this lasts ;P lol

The dishes have decided that since it is now offically spring, they needed to start their spring cleaning. Such sweet little creatures they are :)

April 2

Thanks to our generous friends, we now have a nice new set of dishes and silverware, which set off a chain reaction in the kitchen. We did a pretty hardcore reorganization of things today. We seriously took everything out of every cabinet and found a new, better way to put it away. It was really my kinda thing. No really!

The other big important thing that happened today: I tried NY Pizza and Pasta in Denton–the newest pizza place–and it’s great! I had a giant “stuffed pizza’ and now I want to go back. Denton is getting all the good food now!

Help. I think I'm addicted to mosaics.

Seriously. Help?

This is the cabinet minus some of the largest objects in it. I removed two massive books (larger than a typical Bible) a Boba Fett Helmet, and a busted remote control jeep. I have plenty to stuff in there though to fill the holes, trust me.

The other reason for getting the AB1600 was for its power. In certain occasions, a "flash" set at full power can be used to over power the sun or acts as the sun. I know you can use a regular speed gun for similar results, but it sometimes, when the batteries are down, cycling time is slow.

It was a sunny day today, so I decided to do some cleaning on my back yard.

Cleanded out the master bedroom closet today. One more thing checked off the home to do list. Hopefully can get the kids split into their own rooms next weekend!! EEEP!

15 March 2008

Today was all about cleaning, and more cleaning, and even more cleaning. Oh, and taxes. So after doing all that, I finally relaxed with a hot shower around 1am. But, things are looking pretty good around here, nice and organized. I guess you could say the spring cleaning bug bit me. :)

Scuba Brittney.

I don't know what came over me this morning, but I got out of bed and immediately set to scouring the kitchen from top to bottom.

It took untold amounts of elbow grease and soft scrub to get rid of the buildup over the pilot lights on the stovetop. But this pic is true to life: no clone-stamping or other cheats!

..... lots to do ..... wish I could help!

Bookcases: Going through the dozens of books and novels you’ve collected over the years may not sound too appealing to you, but perhaps the idea of a beautiful bookcase on which to display your literary collections does! Just think of all of the extra room you’ll have made once the clutter and mountains of books disappear (never mind the beautiful, new display!)
