Spring Cleaning 2009 Series: Since I haven't been posting very much since I got my new computer and my photos got disorganized, I did a spring cleaning and organized stuff and found some half-decent shots that I had not posted.

 

I've taken other photos of this sculpture.

 

At the end of the day, there were still heaps of cool items that we were able to donate to Goodwill. Success!

Now that Spring has finally arrived....it's easy to see that some spring-cleaning is needed!

I was amazed at how easy it was to turn a mediocre, spur-of-the-moment shot into a bright and colourful photo. I simply boosted the light in Google Picasa, adjusted highlights, cropped, and fine tuned saturation. All in a minute!

Janna found a cute sweater, a few new hair clips, and several other treasures at the spring swap.

This is the pile of garbage we started to stack after we decided to clean the apartment up, and we weren't even done yet.

It's not glamorous, but I spent much of the afternoon Sunday filling up these giant bags with old clothes to donate. My dogs for scale.

Elvirs backyard 37 hives have survive this highly confusing winter so a loss of 8 hives to Elvir ..........we are now working without gloves and doing the smoking to inhibit the Varroa (a tiny Mite).
