I was so excited to hear about Öyvind Sviland joining the #TwPhCh team that I decided to finally start entering photos for the Twitter Photochallenges myself again :)
This one was shot this afternoon. A sure sign of spring to me is more playtime outside with the kids. It must have been 15 degrees outside, so a barely dressed Julius decided to help mother nature getting rid of the remains of king winter.
Photographically definitely not a masterpiece, but someone has to lower the bar...

Monday, when I visited Fred at Merivale, after when I was waiting for the bus the school came out for their Spring Cleaning, so I'd thought I'd upload an old photo of last year's cleanup.
Here's some trivia: Spot two people who are both only standing on one foot. They're easy to see.

Bees Spring cleaning - Double DB Box
In late April, attending to the Beehives to check the cleanliness and see if the bees have enough wax to lay brood (new eggs for new workers).......
Some hives are performing so well they have quickly run out of space and present a chance for swarming - so to avoid that happening (its ok but only under controlled circumstances) we add a top box with new wax frames.
We use a smoker tosubdue the bees - it makes the eat when they smell the smoke and they gorge until they cannot bend at the waist and drive their sting into you. (GuardsTerminology coming out there).

Sprong cleaning of Kits Pool. It is huge - 350 ft long with heated water. Packed from opening day in May until late September. All the ducks and the seagulls are eagerly awaiting the fresh new bottom paint and the heated water.
Spring cleaning at the Krigslida Commuter Station. This newish waiting area actually has built in infra heating and uncomfortable benches! There's only one track here at the old Nynäsbanan, but work has begun on a second track between Västerhaninge and Tungelsta.
A bookshelf that my grandpa built holds a print that my artist friend Martin sent me when I was 16, vintage canisters and spice containers, and cookbooks. A snoopy apron, which I swiped from my parents house, hangs from a hook on the right.

I found a box behind a screen in my bedroom. Guess what was in it? Buffy and X-File episodes on VHS! PARTY AT MY HOUSE!! I threw the box away. WHAT do I do with VHS tapes? Do you throw them away? I can watch each one of these episodes on DVD...but do they have great l90's early 2000 commericals? NO! Seriously..what do I do with these?
Ok, so, it is that time of the year again. Not that I have ever cleaned out my archives before. This was taken last summer. I am guessing that it was around the first of August because it was in the 08.01.2007 file. This is from Pere Marquette Park in Muskegon, MI.
