Our cherry tree usually blossoms in late March and April. This year it had flowers at the end of January!

I usually don't take photos under the big sun... However the shadows of cherry blossoms here were so attractive that I took out my camera and tried to catch the cherry blossoms along with shadows in springtime! :-)

These are the Germans that the French soldier was worried about. The Germans won this "scenario." Most of the British soldiers were killed; only one was taken prisoner.

Was driving to work this morning when I about wrecked looking at this view as I rounded a bend in the road. I just had to come back after work to this spot to see if I could do this scene justice through the lens of my camera. These are wildflowers that just pop up everywhere in Western Oregon this time of year. (Best Viewed Large) :)
...treading the slopes of Otley Chevin, as they have done through many generations. The last of the winter grass is now rather insipid, but blossoms are now opening on the trees and the landscape is getting rapidly greener.
