The Towpath in early Spring, no longer wearing its winter drab browns but now clad in bright shades of green. Wildwood Park, Harrisburg, Pennsylvania.,
With all the springtime flooding, this beaver doesn't seem to be affected by the ice floating by. He's actually in the middle of a flooded farmer's field.
... really one of my Christmas Cacti that has a mind of its own for blooming. Taken in a bright sunny window ... turned down the Exposure bias to -1 .

Have a safe and wonderful day dear Flickr friends !!!!!!
I have twelve shots of this little spot that made it out of Lr and I have literally just spent ten minutes trying to decide which one to present. I opted for this one because it got the whole scene, it's not the my favorite comp of the bunch, but it tells the story. You hear this from the Iron Horse Trail and the sound forces you to go up a side trail then you see this scene through some scrub and trees and you enter quietly so as to not break the spell. Take in all the tiny falls as the water plays upon stone and wood and then look up. :-) That white that you see above the boulder is a waterfall barrelling down the mountainside that you sense more than see, it's hidden in the trees yet clamors for discovery. I dropped my pack and scrambled over and under trees but could not find a place to see it clearly from so it remains a secret. Parks guy was here the day after this was taken and he has a different, more wet footed approach to the scene. :-) His take in comments.
Thank you for your visit, comment or fave, all are much appreciated.
