In this space, light doesn’t just enter: it caresses. It glides softly through the sheer curtains, filtered and delicate, like a spring morning awakening unhurriedly. Each ray intentionally illuminates the powdery shades of pink and aged whites, revealing a composition where romance and nature coexist in perfect harmony.
The dialogue between textures is subtle yet profound: the rustic warmth of the brick embraces the softness of the fabrics, while the vintage-inspired furniture adds character without sacrificing visual lightness. The shadows, now more defined but gentle, create real volumes, adding depth and an enveloping feeling that invites you to inhabit the space, not just look at it.
The details—the flowers, the folds, the carefully arranged objects—construct an intimate, almost ethereal narrative. It is a corner that evokes calm, where each element seems chosen not only for its aesthetic appeal, but for the emotion it conveys.
A haven of springtime inspiration, where light, in its most natural state, becomes the true protagonist.

The Lady’s Walk, a path through woodland, near the village of Montacute, Somerset, can be entered from the village, from where the path runs steeply up hill, or the walk can start from Hollow Lane, to walk downhill in the opposite direction. In Spring flowers grow on the woodland floor, celandines, primroses and wood anemones are the earliest, followed by wild garlic and bluebells later. The trees are mainly deciduous including many beeches.

The River Sind flows through the beautiful Sind valley in Ganderbal district of the state of Jammu & Kashmir , India.Shot taken on the way from Srinagar, the capital of Jammu & Kashmir to the stunning tourist destination of Sonamarg. The altitude would have been over 8000 feet.

With all the springtime flooding, this beaver doesn't seem to be affected by the ice floating by. He's actually in the middle of a flooded farmer's field.
... really one of my Christmas Cacti that has a mind of its own for blooming. Taken in a bright sunny window ... turned down the Exposure bias to -1 .

Happy weekend 😊
How I long to Springtime, the promise of many beautiful flowers to come. A little study of my neighbors Daffodils.
As Oliver1978 wrote in his photostream: the weather was all but promising when we set off for our "Rapstour" last weekend - but it turned out to be a great day with beautiful light. And, of course, beautiful yellow canola fields...
I have twelve shots of this little spot that made it out of Lr and I have literally just spent ten minutes trying to decide which one to present. I opted for this one because it got the whole scene, it's not the my favorite comp of the bunch, but it tells the story. You hear this from the Iron Horse Trail and the sound forces you to go up a side trail then you see this scene through some scrub and trees and you enter quietly so as to not break the spell. Take in all the tiny falls as the water plays upon stone and wood and then look up. :-) That white that you see above the boulder is a waterfall barrelling down the mountainside that you sense more than see, it's hidden in the trees yet clamors for discovery. I dropped my pack and scrambled over and under trees but could not find a place to see it clearly from so it remains a secret. Parks guy was here the day after this was taken and he has a different, more wet footed approach to the scene. :-) His take in comments.
Thank you for your visit, comment or fave, all are much appreciated.

The springtime Wisconsin sky looks like it is ready for some action, as Canadian Pacific's westbound extra train 289, hustles through Columbus Wisconsin with a selection of power for everyone. The train will work Portage, then be on it's way to the Twin Cities.
