A shot of the power converter in this unique VW Beetle - with the flip of a switch all the lights will flash - what fun. This unique beetle is half original and half beautifully restored, all in one nifty package.
We all have two sides to our psyche - a dark and a light side. These 2 sides create balance as long as we truly get to know both sides of ourselves.

Frankly today has been pretty slow. I've wavered between feeling sick and having uncomfortable bursts of energy I don't know what to do with. Most of my night I've been sitting here pantsless with a gross John Deere T-shirt, humming "Mamas Don't Let You Babies Grow Up to Be Cowboys" and basking in the redneckery of it all. I also really need to shower, but I don't want to straighten/curl my hair tomorrow so I have to wait until morning- BUT I'm just being whiney.Overall it's been a pretty nice week. :)
Stayed out after the sunset in previous upload to experiment with the tripod (and obviously also Photoshop). Larger

The name on the building is "Triton Towers Two," but the name on the tenant's sign is "Two Renton Place." When The Boeing Company leased a large portion of this building (1990s?), it was known as "Two Renton Place," the second of three similar buildings managed by the same company. In 2007 the name was changed to "Triton Towers Two," probably reflecting a change in ownership. Boeing's Facilities Management organization has not seen fit to change its sign, which is fine with me. But I am biased: when I retired from Boeing, I was working on the seventh floor of this building and knew it as "Two Renton Place.'

Not the best reflection, but Buttercuppe wouldn't hold still, and hey. Pictures of toys.
Assignment 2. Mirror/Reflection. A great, though challenging, compositional element is the mirror. Use reflections to complement your subject. Anyone doing a self-portrait in a mirror will be tagged “phoned in.” All other reflections are fair game. Tag with cwd132.

I'm bettin' this is a one of a kind unique VW Beetle - I certainly haven't seen it's like. Half original 1971 love bug and half beautifully restored, all in one nifty package.
This is not photoshoped, its straight out of the camera. Just the camera set to long exposure, me illuminating myself with coloured LED lights from different angles and waving the lights in front of the camera.
That's what comes from keeping secrets.
Playing with my camera after a dance last night. I love it. A lot. It's sort of my friend.
I think I need to name it.
Any suggestions?
(When I get dressed up I feel the need to do some serious camera-whoring. Hahaha.)
With all these self-portraits I keep thinking that I should just do a 365 project.
Then I realize I'll run out of ideas within a week, haha.
So...maybe a 52 weeks project instead?
Nevermind, don't wanna do that either.
Oh God this photo is so lame, haha.

Of course I destroyed that vicious creature - still I am afraid its hideous grin will haunt me for quite some time now...
