K.Marinović - Splashing

Hello #friends, here is my new shot called "Splashing". Taken at the island of Vir, Croatia. A very risky shoot that day, my camera was all wet that day! But it was worth it because I came up with some really nice shots. Looking forward to share them with you! This summer is going great so far. Taken with Tokina 12-24mm, edited in Lightroom.

Have a lovely night!

A few attempts here and some help from Andy, meant this finally fell in the water facing the camera...It was camera shy before, and I just had a lot of pictures of the peel!

I do not always have time to go through all the photos I have taken before I post something. I think I like this photo better than the two bufflehead landing images I posted earlier this week. The splash is not as good but the details on the bird and the tones are better. Hope you do not get tired of these bufflehead pictures. I love to watch them landing!

I thought everything would be in focus with the dof and shutter speed I used. My family liked this image the most and thought it was more interesting with my hand included. The lemon was on a wooden skewer and I cloned it out in post production.

I went out looking for a sunset and found a splash landing by a swan. Taking photographs is so unpredictable.

Going through my photos from years ago, cataloguing and tagging them, I found this one that in retrospect seems a bit whimsical...

This great egret made stab for a fish but missed. But the splash was nice, albeit not exactly belly-filling.
