For Photography class, our assignment was to freeze motion. I did it by dropping drops of strawberry syrup into a bowl of milk.

I should mention I totally stole this idea from tobyloc.

The water splashed against the boat.

The "Splash" wool beads are needle and then gently wet felted to a firm but soft consistency in hues of blue, aqua marine, winter white from soft merino wool. These soft wool beads are strung together with gold wire to faceted glass crystals and freshwater pearls, thus creating an elegant and harmonious marriage between earth and water.

The earrings hang about 2" from elegant gold plated hooks. they go perfectly with either the Pansy Puff Pin or the Splash bracelet, which are sold separately.

Just trying to get some nice splashes in focus and playing around a bit (my son was helping me out, and we had a lot of fun!).

Lighting was with a LumoPro LP160, at 1/8th power. Shot at f/16 for added DOF. Drops were released with a spoon, and the camera was set with a 2 second timer, so we had to fine tune our release. We got some nice splashes, but we'll definitely give it another try soon!

My husband did a front flip off of the diving board. This is what he left.

The splash down after the plunge on our dive at Blakely Rocks in the Puget Sound. I hung out on the buoy line while Tom and Dave got suited up.
