Although he may have looked as if he was diving, he didn't he just settled on the water. There seems to be a dozen or so of these gulls who regard these ponds as part of their territory. That's because of the amount of free food... mainly bread available.
Tweaked a little but not cropped.
We took the kids to the splash pad here on post today. They had a blast. I am posting many shots from today. Some I think are print worthy for our album, others are just of the kids having a good time. Hope everyone enjoys!

I wasn't happy with any of the single milk splashes that I got today so this is a combination of 3 milk splashes merged together with photoshop...
Splashes are a combination of milk and blue food colouring.

A perennial Pedalpalooza favorite of mine.. Splash Dance! We had a great sound system and rode to a few fountains downtown for dancing and playing.
this is my second attempt at water droplet photography. i did a bit more experimenting,like wider apetures and focusing.
