She was much more enthused when they went to the splash pad, which featured all sorts of sprinkler-y things.
We took the kids to the splash pad here on post today. They had a blast. I am posting many shots from today. Some I think are print worthy for our album, others are just of the kids having a good time. Hope everyone enjoys!

I can't even begin to think what my neighbours must have thought of my squeaking and squealing whilst taking this photo, let alone if they actually saw what I was doing...
Haciendo ejercicios de velocidad. Todavía no logro que me quede bien enfocado el splash =/. Tiene algo de ruidito pero me gusta. ♥
Speed exercise, a little bit of noise but I like it :)

Last summer I tried to take a splash shot. I searched the best splash shots on flickr and I noticed that the background played an important role. I opted for this background, I studied the light, I bought a liter of milk, a peach and I did two experiments. This one was the first and the best one too. I took several shots exploiting the 6.5 frame/sec feature of my canon 40d. No one of the taken shots persuaded me so I was really disappointed above all because it was quite demanding cleaning the floor. Browsing the shots on the computer I had the idea of join all the shots to give the feeling of a movie. I hope you enjoy it.
Julia can't stand it when anyone takes a bath without her these days. If she so much as hears that water running, she makes a quick (and I mean quick) beeline for the bathroom, grinning like there's nothing but fun to be had in there. So cute.
somewhere under these water droplets are two of the most simultaneously crazy and cute kids you'll meet-- my littlest brother and sister. They spent an hour or so screaming an jumping into the river.
Sunday I was down at the Quays shooting the Salford World Cup Triathlon on an lovely sunny day. This year there was a change to the course introduced by the ITU which meant that elite athletes had to exit and re-enter the water after the first lap in the swim race. This provided opportunity for some spectacular shots.
I have now uploaded many shots from the Elite women's race on my website. Lots more like this !
